    Rare color

There's no accounting for taste, and while I bought the Star White model, there was a Silver Spruce model which I thought was a beautiful color. You have to see it in person to appreciate it. Why didn't I get that one? It didn't have the tech or performance package.

Actuator noise when open driver door

    That's a pretty good diagnosis!

    Fuel octane?

If you've seen his other posts, he's not happy with his ST in general. He can't find or afford premium fuel, so now everything is Ford's fault. My guess is he's looking for anything substantial to try to get a buyback.

Racing Brake is in the game.

Doh! Re-read my post. I'm sure y'all got my meaning that I meant distance rather than "times" for the braking test. But hey, I made the Kessel run in under 12 parsecs!

    Fuel octane?

I guess I'm spoiled since here in Eastern TN, we can get 93 with ethanol, 93 with no ethanol, E-85, etc. I do not have a tune yet, but I've used all of them. I have seen better gas mileage from the non-ethanol variety. But for an extra 1-2 mpg (highway) from my ST and my previous supercharged...

Racing Brake is in the game.

Any chance you might record some 60-0 or 70-0 times after the upgrade? I have seen 114 ft listed for the ST on 60-0 times which is pretty impressive. I've also seen the Car and Driver's 70-0 times of 161 ft. I realize that larger rotors and calipers should also offer better fade resistance on...

    93 Octane

Maybe I'm in a bad mood, and perhaps I'll get flamed for this, but you spent 60k CAD on a high performance SUV with a twin turbo 3 litre that is rated 400 hp on 93 and gets maybe 25 mpg on it's best day. And now it's a POS and Ford is committing a fraud because you can't afford or find a better...

    Whipple intercooler

Locally we are seeing a huge demand in housing, while at the same time, there aren't enough people to work the construction jobs. There are several new subdivisions around me which managed to get foundations poured early last year, and those foundations are still sitting there. Sure housing...

The FORZDA3 2021 Rapid Red ST "NOT-a-Build" Project

Look, this guy isn't anything but a posturing poseur. Probably a 25 yr old wannabe sitting in his mother's basement, surrounded by pizza boxes and porn. He's also the type that absolutely has to have the last word, so let's all stop feeding the troll.

    Stinky Fish Challenge

Five years ago I was living in Tucson and ordered 4 live lobsters from Maine for a Mother's Day meal. Supposed to be delivered on Saturday. There was a giant storm in Nashville (I think it was the main FedEx shipping hub). When they didn't show up, I called them and they said they would be...

    Strut tower brace

Isn't it interesting how you project everything??? Notice that all your opinions are "facts" and anyone else's facts are just "opinions". What a delightful addition you are to the site.

    Strut tower brace

Your "avatar" says it all...project much? And some people actually enjoy someone who puts a lot of effort into bulbs, floor mats, sound system, etc.

@FORZDA3 You have made what....11 posts so far and most of them have been critical of others or "I know it all" posts. Is this really the way you want to start on this site? I believe you probably have valid arguments, but perhaps you could phrase things in a slightly more positive way?

    Strut tower brace

Whoa, whoa, whoa... You post a lot and I respect your posts, and you're right, the explorer doesn't use a MAF sensor, but you have to remember that not all hot-wire style MAF sensors are created equal. Earlier models did not have the "burn off" shutdown feature that later models had which did...

    Anyone familiar with this product?

First of all, I didn't say anything about "feelings", so I'm not sure why you stated that. However for someone who says they don't know what the device does but then adds, "This one can likely also do that, but that's not everything it does." without any knowledge whatsoever about what it does...

    Anyone familiar with this product?

Most likely that device is only interpreting and changing the signal of the "demand" in the accelerator pedal. In general (and I have to say I haven't looked at signals in the CAN bus on the explorer) but I don't see how it's changing the ECU maps in real-time. Notice info on the website: No...

Spy photos reveal off-road themed Ford Explorer

It also has a Torsen-style limited slip differential in the back. It's most likely that this could be swapped into an ST. Unsure whether the axle ratio is the same as the ST or whether the ring and pinion are the same.

So what do you all do?

Thanks for all of your service. As a former resident of Cincy, I'm missing me some Skyline Chili!
