    Front Tire Replacement

How many miles on the car? If the two other tires are within a couple MM of each other you'll be fine, but anything over will fry your AWD system. It isn't worth the risk. One thing you could do, if you really are against getting a new pair of tires, is checking United Tires or somewhere, and...

    When filling the tank up

It will never be consistent. Anything could have effected the range of the tank. Also, never fill the tank up, or continue to click the gas pump after it stops the first time, great way to make your Purge Valve fail on these cars.

Paint Correction, GTechniq Coating, Pillar PPF - Grand Rapids, MI

That’s the only way to keep it looking good for a long time!

    Burger Tunes

Jb4 units are just piggybacks and won’t give you any worthwhile gains. Not worth the entry price. Nobody really does it because of the cost vs actual performance gains.

Paint Correction, GTechniq Coating, Pillar PPF - Grand Rapids, MI

Definitely looks great. I’ve heard great things about ceramic coatings.

Explorer lunging at high speed while parking

The Emergency Braking system doesn’t work below a certain speed. I believe something like under 3-4 MPH it isn’t operational.

New 23 ST owner from eastern PA

Welcome to the forum! All the intercoolers perform the same (except for cheap eBay ones) so whatever one you find cheapest will be the best one. Here’s my modding guide if you need more info on that: https://www.explorerst.org/threads/explorer-st-modding-101-guide.7324/

    Rod Knock at 4K miles.

It is very very uncommon for the actual engine to have problems on our cars. There was just a recall for bad valves on some of our cars so that could be it, very uncommon problem though.

    Explorer ST Modding 101 Guide

I totally understand the fuel system thing, plus it’s really expensive like you said. I know Austin Puckett was thinking about the port injection, I’m not sure if he went through with it. I totally forgot about it, and will definitely have to ask some of my sources to see how they feel about it...

    Explorer ST Modding 101 Guide

Turbo wise, you’re probably correct, but that’s a very rare example. I didn’t realize that CRP was now making a watergate actuator, I’ll have to update the guide with it. As far as fuel system, I was just saying that you may need it if you run high ethonal mixes or have upgraded turbos. I...

Looking for 500hp, what’s the best plan 2023 ST 3000 miles

Most people who have done dyno running some ethonal mix so that’s what I was referring too. Also, I’ve always heard great things about ZFGs tranny tuning, and your tranny fluid is probably low if it’s still like that. Edit: just saw that you said you did that already. Like others mentioned send...

Looking for 500hp, what’s the best plan 2023 ST 3000 miles

Intercooler and tune will get you pretty close to 500 AWHP and definitely more then 500 at the crank. What matters most even more then those numbers is that you will be running a lot better numbers in the 1/4 mile and driving experience will be a lot better. Here’s my modding guide for these...

    Getting rear axle bolt fixed

I would just reflash it back to stock just in the case they do do anything.

    Dangerous?

This was just a very good harmless lesson. Car didn’t fall off the wheel, no parts were damaged, it was just a scary lesson. No need to beat yourself up about it, just something to learn from.

    Dangerous?

Like everyone mentioned above, if you were trying to take all the lug nuts off the car before it was jacked then that obviously is not good. I know a lot of people slightly loosen the lug nuts before jacking it so that the wheel just doesn’t work against you when trying to take the lug nuts off...

Best Explorer ST 2021 exhaust in the 2024

The stock exhaust performance wise is perfectly fine, there’s no performance gain with any aftermarket exhaust. Sound wise the Thermal exhaust is the best sounding one.
