    Like the jodie foster movie "contact"

    t drive with dealer agent at least two other new ST Explorers and see if either has the same problem. If not, tell them you want to get one without the problem. I have 1600 miles and no problem as described. Sounds as if hing in drive train out of balance or possible automatic issue in lower...

    What was your reaction the first time behind the wheel of a Explorer ST?

    Loved it once I got my computer science degree to figure out all the features to operate it.. Long gone are the turn the key and go days but love the handling and power. So different and improved from my previous Explorers ('93 XLT, 2005 XLT, 2014 Sport).

    Explorer ST Bulb Chart

    I am more bothered by the sealed headlight assembly that requires costly full replacement, not just the halogen bulb.

    Capless fuel tank issues?

    I notice that it is a more snug fit with a tighter rubber ring that my older Explorer and Mustangs do not have. Maybe it is an EPA thing to prevent fumes from getting out as you fill the tank.

    How do you dry your washed car?

    Old school, still use a clean real deer skin chamois. After every wash or rain. Polishes seem to last longer than using micro-fiber towels which seem to be rougher, like terry towels, and remove some o the polish. I use micro fiber towels only on the rims.:cool:
