Hello I have a 2020 ST. Has anyone encountered this fault? It's a rather insidious one. I tried using Forscan, but to no avail. The codes are U3012 and U0412. The dealer advised me to replace the ABS unit, telling me it's a common fault in Ford vehicles. I want your opinion?

I use forscan, I have checked more than once and no code appears in it, even though it has lost its function and all warnings are present on IPC

Found it in forscan thanks to you and @Mustang5L5 . My wheel still does the same thing. Heats up kinda nice for about 30 seconds then seemingly goes away. It is about 80 degrees where I live. Do Ford's have something where it disengages the HSW if the temp outside doesn't meet a certain requirement?

I had to go online and pay to download the Ford ABS software to my basic scanner, I also use ForeScan which is a lot better.

If the ABS light is on, there should be DTC's in the ABS module. You will need a higher-end scan tool, or ForScan to pull module DTC's as your basic OBD2 scanner can only pull DTC's from the PCM. Given that the ABS light is on, i would expect to see codes. If you can post those codes, it...

Unfortunately in my HVAC module, the only settings I have are to disable/enable to HSW. There is the actual coding HVAC module but I have no idea what the code means.
