What Have You Done To Your Explorer ST Today

It does slow the throttle response but more. When in slippery mode set your display to the power distribution and you can see that it applies more power to the front wheels plus feel that. Makes it more like a 4X4.

What Have You Done To Your Explorer ST Today

Gave slippery mode a good test run. Had about 30 miles of nasty road conditions due to recent snow storm. It worked pretty good. Glad the Explorer has it.

Long time lurker first time owner

Check with your dealer about that paint chip. If it's new they may be able to have it fixed under warranty. I had a small paint defect on the rear hatch that was approved under warranty. It's worth checking. The 4 bo;t rear ends have been popping up just recently, that's a good thing. Moisture...

No harm done. I don't get butt hurt over things like that where a person is trying to help. :)

    Exhaust smell

Same for me. I think the parts just became available so that's why recall letters are going out. At least that is what my service advisor said.

The "Space GhoST" has lost its powers....

A fully charged battery should test about 12.6V. It should have been fully charged as it was when I started and drove 45 minutes at mostly highway speeds. No stops at all. So it lost charge while the vehicle was putting out 15V

The "Space GhoST" has lost its powers....

Well just for fun I put my Battery Minder on. Will leave it hooked up for a day or so. My A/S hasn't worked for at least a month. I am due for an oil change. I know battery voltage and what drive mode your in affects it. I don't use sport mode often, most of the time it's in normal mode. Pretty...

The "Space GhoST" has lost its powers....

I'm surprised to hear this. My A/S has not worked many times right after an oil change at my Ford dealership. And if I put my Battery-Minder on it for a day or so it will work again at least for a while. Can you share where that info about the oil change is from? Thanks.

Sounds like your dealership has a very good service department. Glad to hear things worked out well for you.
