    Trans. dip stick

Thinking about this and thought one of those aftermarket companies could design a curved fill tube that screws into the nut threadings that hold the dipstick in. Instead of the dipstick, a sensor that would show fluid level at the proper fluid temp would be great.

    Trans Temp Gauge

Ended up getting this. Does everything including all data display coming from the ECU and transmission computer. Of course, DTC, explanation of codes, remedies etc. It auto detects VIN so it is model specific for exact features and sensors. A good deal + for 103 out the door. I now have real...

Did the same last year and I think they stand out nicely with this color scheme. Matches the "ST", the tail lights and the calipers.

    Tire recommendation

The Pirelli Sport Weatheractives ratings seem to trump most I've seen and would be my next consideration. I trust the Tire Rack ratings because they track test right there on their grounds plus consumer ratings. In all the categories, they're rated excellent and they're cheaper than the Pilots...

Replaced a leaking trans cooler today. Turned a quoted $800 cost down to $255. It was installed by a guy who charged me only $127 labor when everyone else wanted $500. Ford stealership wanted $305 for the part but got it at Miracle Ford Parts for $128. Don't know how they figure on charging $500...

Yes, I'm speaking of the one that goes onto the charge end of the turbo itself. I'm assuming that's the 57-65mm. It's a short elbow hose on the right/passenger side turbo.

Do you remember if you used 2", 2 1/4" or 2 1/2" T bolts for your turbo?

Had a scratch that went down to the metal on the left front fender. The body shop I went to not only matched the iconic silver but they also had a scanner that picked up any kind of paint fade so it would automatically match the rest of the car. The match was perfect and they didn't have to...

What Have You Done To Your Explorer ST Today

Spent 2 1/2 hrs under the hood today after the hose blew off the right turbo last night. The hose clamp screw was in such a ridiculous position that I had to take the whole piping off so I could reset the orientation of the clamp. It was one of those clamps that was crimped onto the hose so you...

Thanks! Just a template redraft note: The 31" length is fine. As far as the 6" width, maybe you could show that the 6" is the total width and in the same ruler, mark the measures of the indents and the dotted lines. The dotted lines show the area of bending but not where they are in reference...
