I broke it on the test drive..

One can only think that the salesman has done a few test drives with that ST and telling everyone the same thing..."Now get on it!" The power sells but.....

    Deep Sleep Mode

You may want to go for a long drive. Car just parked and then a few short trips will not help the battery.

    4WD Fault Service Required

I have seen it get confused when slipping on snowy roads or losing traction around a icy corner. I did the same thing...turned the car off and then on restart all was good again.

Converting crossmember from 1 bolt to 2

I just dread having to turn my car over to Ford if they decide to replace this part.

Converting crossmember from 1 bolt to 2

Now we know why Ford only wants to do a quick ECM flash as a start on this problem. Great write up!

    Oil change schedule

I say do what makes you comfortable. I just did my first oil change at 4500km. The first since Jan 6-22. Lots of short drives and one long road trip towing a trailer. The oil life was at 50%. I have never followed the owners manual, always before. An oil change done a little sooner is cheap...

Some data panels from contemporary road tests ...

1968 428 COBRA JET was fast from day one and gas mileage?.....who cares! Now, well I will be riding my bicycle to work tomorrow.

Is anyone running oil other than 5-30?

Ford recommends a certain grade of oil. Not sure if you want to be changing things up especially with a turbocharged engine, most likely under warranty. Could your dealer in your area not give some good advice given the high temps and the effects on engines? I am sure they have seen it all.

    Roof rack rattle

I am fairly sure there is hardware under the headliner pertaining to the roof rack. A few members on this forum have removed the roof rack and documented the process. I am sure someone else will soon provide more info.

    Peeling leather on driver seat

From this company.. Seat Covers Unlimited. They have Velcro that loops under the seats. There is a lot of stuff under our seats so it takes a little bit of finessing. They come in three parts.Back, bottom and head rests. The heated part of seats are so hot that the seat covers really don’t change...

    Peeling leather on driver seat

That's why I have seat covers. I am under no illusion that the seats will hold up over the next 5 years. I found this out with a Focus RS before this ST. Yes, there is a warranty but I just hate turning my car over to the dealership.

Safety Recall 22S27 Rear Axle Bolt Fractures

Someone will have to dyno before and after. I do not trust Corporate Ford at all.

Safety Recall 22S27 Rear Axle Bolt Fractures

Very interested to get your report on how car "feels" after the update.

Safety Recall 22S27 Rear Axle Bolt Fractures

I will just throw this out there...I can only guess that Ford will not be releasing a tune for this platform with the rear end problem. Just like one never came out for the Focus RS due to the head gasket problem?! I was really looking forward to a official Ford tune so the warranty would not be...

    2023 Kia Telluride X-Pro

For me the Korean manufactures do not have the performance heritage that Ford has. As someone who has been interested in cars all my life, that heritage counts when making a choice.

Poll: How many have experienced a "rear axle bolt fracture" (POLL CLOSED 6-4-22)

"Have You Driven A Ford ... Lately!"....NO. Because of a crappy bolt!

Safety Recall 22S27 Rear Axle Bolt Fractures

If the fix is a power down grade.....no thanks. That sounds like a law suit for sure. Can't take away part of the 400 hp they advertised and we paid for.
