For my personal Explorer: MSRP is $57,515 Xplan is $55,292 Invoice price is $55,238 So with the Explorers it looks like Xplan is just above invoice.

It's usually a couple hundred bucks above invoice price. Varies with the different builds.

Yes.. once you open the tailgate.. its the piece at the top of the rear windshield... right where the third brake light is mounted. Literally pops right off. And as always.. disconnect the battery first!

Just do the flashing third brake and leave the actual stop lights solid. Flashing stop lights just might make the driver behind you think you're pulsing the brakes and not slamming to a stop... you need some sort of solid brake light in the rear. I bought the cheap amazon part that wires into...
