Current Rating (Amperage) for the 110 volt Power Outlet

Yeah it's pretty worthless for anything outside of charging a laptop. You'd be better off getting a 12v vacuum or running an inverter.

    Tapatalk not working

Something weird is happening. I got a notification email from a generic "Forum Support" instead of the usual "Explorer ST Forum".

    Who else likes cigars?

In my teens my best friend and I would get on our bikes and ride out to go fishing. One of the things we loved to do while fishing was smoke cigars. I was probably 14 or 15 but I could still buy Philly Blunts or Garcia Vega cigars from the local gas station. Fast forward to my 20s after I...

Clicking sound when turning wheel…heard after truck heats up

I've noticed the same thing recently on mine. I only hear it when I'm driving up through the parking garage here when making right turns to the next floor. Going down (and making the same turns but left) I don't here it. I haven't had the chance to crawl under and take a look.

    Files for Fullscreen Mod

Open the README file with notepad, there should be some instructions there. I haven't downloaded or installed this yet so I'm not sure exactly.

    Oily oil pan

I'd degrease/clean the area thoroughly and check on it in a 1,000 miles or so. Could just be residue from draining the oil and leaving a drop or two on the pan at the drain hole. Over time that still will drip and migrate everywhere. Also keep an eye on the front axle for leaks.

    Files for Fullscreen Mod

Correct, you just need some USB storage. Using 4 just makes it easier to do. Also make sure you Sync3 is updated to the latest version. It's been out for a while but there are plenty of people who still haven't updated. This mod will not work if you're not on the latest version.

    ST's are like buses...

It seems to be a common phenomena. Before I bought my Explorer I knew I was looking for a SUV in general. I was keeping an eye out for 6th gen Explorers and rarely saw one. I live in an apartment facing a highway in DFW, with all the cars I see you'd think I'd see a ton of them, but I didn't...

Fullscreen Android Auto/CarPlay Mod Is Here for Sync3 10P Screen!! [FMods Team 10 Pees]

Does anyone know what changes were made between beta and RC1? I'm still running beta 4. The mod publisher did not post any info on fmods that I can find.

    Scratch through the black paint

If just a scratch I'd hit it with a paint pen and be done with it. If it's a straight scratch you might even tape if off right to the edges of the scratch.

    More dealer service problems

Sorry, my previous post was rhetorical. No model year ST came with an engine cover. Not mine ('23), not folks with the earliest of '20s, and none of the folks in this thread who have/have seen a '25. Edit: did it look like this?

The '25 STs have an engine cover?

    Oil Consumption

It looks like you're reading little tidbits of information here and there and getting all worked up over nothing. "Consuming 1 qt of oil between changes" is what manufactures would call within spec, and it can happen especially with the extended oil change intervals vehicles have today compared...

mirror power tap how to disconnect this connector?

It's difficult to describe, you gotta be firm yet cautious? I tried using a plastic trim tool but it ended up not having enough leverage to it so I just carefully pulled the whole thing off with my hands. It's probably not as delicate as we think it is.

    Fullscreen question

Hardest part is getting the timing right when doing a reset of the infotainment and inserting the jailbreak USB.
