    Replacement tires for the 21" Pirelli Scorpion's - YOKO'S?

Like everything else, tire pricing has exploded. While I love the Michelins, you do trade some grip for longevity. Getting 10k to 20k miles less and paying a premium when you do replace them equates to a lot more than chump change. Fortunately retirement leads to less than a quarter the miles I...

Stage 1 or buy parts seperately

Yes additional cost and it’s a pita install too. I’ve had a set for six months waiting to tackle installing them. Not difficult, just little room for my old hands[emoji23] Can’t beat an intercooler and tune as far as best bang for buck. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Stage 1 or buy parts seperately

Agree, his list gets the best bang for the buck imo. Downpipes would add 15-20hp but the tune really wakes it up and the intercooler helps a lot on longer pulls. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Removal of 3rd seat row

Not handy but there are some in my build thread. https://www.explorerst.org/index.php?threads/13%22-sub-in-factory-location-and-rest-of-stereo-upgrade.3540 It flips up from the rear with some gas struts so it stays up. The upper level is available for storage. I use Velcro straps screwed to...

    Motorcycle hitch carrier

You can haul it, but your Explorer will likely sag a bit, maybe quite a bit. Used to haul bikes on a similar apparatus but on full sized SUV’s. Having the weight of everything a good foot or two behind the receiver adds quite a bit of torque compared to hauling a trailer of similar weight. May...

    Wiring

I tried to find a good spot but just couldn’t get those huge grommets open without breaking them. So long as you paint the metal corrosion shouldn’t be an issue. I run a BlackVue 970. I am currently involved in a lawsuit. My dashcam clearly shows it was not my fault despite the injured party’s...

    Wiring

I ended up drilling a hole on the hatch and rear. I used rubber grommets. Put a couple layers of heat shrink tubing just to protect the wire. Primed and painted inside the holes. Going on two years and it’s holding up well. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

FS Oem trans pan for shipping

Not 100% sure if it’s the deep one or not. Bought it here. I’m guessing deep as I added a couple 2-3 qts more than I pulled out. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Blown Transmission

I think the trans tuning is better than stick for longevity. Oem tune is pretty slow and mushy to shift. Quicker more crisp shifts actually help longevity. But they have to tune for the vast majority of people. Regarding the motor, while a tune might make it run better, anything increasing hp...
