Not the only annoying reset feature. What about the drive mode changing back to Normal every time you restart. Other brands alloy you to leave it in the drive mode you select. Also, the auto stop/start resets to on and can't be turned off permanently like other makes.

By the time I drove home from the gas station the sputtering/stalling would stop and wouldn't happen again until the next fillup, but I recall it being intermittent and temperature related too.

I learned that valuable lesson after overfilling my 2013 MKZ! Now I never overfill. When it stops filling I am done at the pump. I never got it fixed just lived with it.
