I am getting about .5 mpg increase over the past 1000 miles since I added aFe filter. The K&N filter was about the same but I did notice that the oil from the K&N was creeping up the sides of the air box. Yes it is slightly louder with the K&N or aFe filters.

Is it under warranty? The dealership is probably your best bet it could be a failing/broken actuator.

Every manufacturer is down on production this year due to this issue.

I could also be the usb port not being fast enough to process the data. Some of these OBD to usb are very fussy with port speed/connectivity.

I had new tires from Tire Rack mounted and balanced on my 98 Ranger in my driveway. They dismounted my old tires and mounted the new ones took the old tires away, well worth the $25 per tire. Total time 1.25 hours.
