New owner Sport mode/ turbo very underwhelming

Run one tank of 93 through it before you evaluate performance. The computer will take it's time to ramp up the boost and timing.

If anyone is interested in NIB hi-po racing brake pads, I got em. I had dealer put them in back seat rather than Install them.

How many people warm up their Explorer ST before driving?

Always warm that engine at least 5 mins if its below 40. Seals are stiff, and oil viscosity is high at low temps which will cause seeping and worse leaks. I also try to warm the axles, trans, and wheel bearings by driving slowly for a mile or so when its below freezing.

Auto Stop/Start Sucks. Who's with me??

Still awaiting dealer closing date, likely this week. Test drove a caddy xt6 and it was very very nice. Very smooth driving and sharp looking. The console was small and no sun glasses holder overhead among several other annoyances. We decided it was too small, especially narrow compared to...

Auto Stop/Start Sucks. Who's with me??

I hate it. I get pissed when I forget to disable it and I feel the restart rumble. I have the disable recall module, but haven't installed it.

So we test drove a 6/19 build ST with just over 9500 miles on it today. Happy to report that it drove fine with no issues I could detect. No noises, no vibes, no malfunctions at all.

So I yesterday drove a demo st with 5k miles, build date 10/19. It vibrated. From a stop, and at varying speeds, intermittently. Even the salesman with us noted and commented on the vibration. My service guy wasnt kidding when he wrote on work order that "other st on lot with demo miles also...

    Transmission troubles

Software snafu. It's all computer controlled. I doubt it's mechanical but maybe a sensor.

New owner! but tranny problems at 2500 miles!

    Sounds like a software snafu.
