I have not had this issue, but typically it will be caused from somewhere higher up on the ST and traveling down into the spare tire compartment.

Same here. Rain sensing works good for me the majority of the time. On occasion I will just turn the wipers on. I would think a proper windshield would need to be used to have the sensing part work correctly.

Just get a spouse like mine. She won't give the ST a rest, so of course no battery issues thus far. My ST was built in October 2019 and I bought it brand new in November 2020 with just a few miles on it. It still has the original battery even though it had a rough first year of just sitting.

If you look at the tread pattern these tires are more of a summer tire or for such areas that have warm climates year round.

How about a 2024 VW Atlas SEL R-Line or I would possibly consider a 2024 Jeep Grand Cherokee L when they become available if improvements are made to the engine.

Thanks for the heads up. I plan on replacing mine myself when the time comes and will pay attention to this. We really should be getting 5-6 years out of our original batteries.

Sometimes it is just best to take it back to the dealer you bought it from, right or wrong. There is no sense in going to a dealer service department that can't help you. With the key fob, can't really help you with that, sorry, as Ford really designed them to stay in the vehicle at all times...

I will try to get a pic of what I think is the redesign of the flex pipe. They moved the flex section forward to possibly have less stress on this part.

Should be under warranty. You are going to need a caliper, rotor, and brake pads. Cost will add up quickly if you go to another shop. Really depends on how much time you have. Changing over to performance brakes is not really practical at this point if you are on a trip.

Any chance it could be the throttle body? This sounds similar to what my ST did and had to be towed to the dealer. They said the issue disappeared the next morning, but then drove it for about an hour and then lost all power. They replaced the throttle body and all has been fine since.

MY2020 has much nicer roof rails. After that year Ford saved a few dollars by putting the the base model Explorer roof rails on the ST.
