    Tire fitting question

Might be okay, but just wouldn't look right as they would be too tall. If they make like a 265/50 it would fit, but then be too narrow.

    First long distance towing

I was going to comment on the SVO also. edog, are you bringing it back to life?

    "EXPLORER" lettering on hood

Same here. I think it gives the ST a nice look. I wash mine every week and have no issues with the letters snagging by microfiber towels or chamois.

    Buying a used ST

I would test drive it quite a bit. Don't just go around the block. Also keep it overnight and see how it sounds first thing in the morning. Anything that seems not quite right, get it fixed before signing anything, otherwise you could regret the purchase. If all is well then I would say get it...

    Transmission woes

This sounds similar to what my ST did early on. It ended up being the throttle body.

Key fob lost power on me

But I can stay married because I don't need to look for the keys, ha. I can also start the ST anywhere. Also need a reason to get a 2025 ST.

    Oil life meter

I love all of Dave's videos and respect all that he has to say. Of course I will have to disagree with his recommended 3k mile oil changes, but agree with the oil pro that an oil analysis will provide us with the most accurate data.

    Running boards/Splash guards

I agree, please don't do either.

    Oil life meter

I have to disagree. 10K mile oil changes should be the norm nowadays. Studies have shown that synthetic oil does not wear out. I use Mobil 1 in the ST and my other car. I go 10k miles in the ST and 15k miles in my car, which has over 260k miles, with no issues. Castrol has just advertised their...

Driver Lower Seat Panel - Outboard Side

Dealer replaced ours about two years ago and it is still in good shape. Same design as the original. If you look at later model years, Ford did away with the front trim panel so that there is no longer pressure being put on the panel, which causes it to break when getting in and out of the vehicle.

Key fob lost power on me

    Yup, just touch and go.

2025 Explorer ST "Performance Hood Graphic"?

It looks to be two flat black stripes in the middle of the hood. I was able to view it on the Ford website. Just be sure you have the view showing the hood on your screen.

Key fob lost power on me

Really the key fob should remain in the vehicle almost all the time, by design. It is so much more convenient if you do this.

    Loud Screeching Noise/Medal Dragging Sound

A few hard stops in reverse may cure this issue.

FS 21" Black Explorer ST Wheels & Tires

Seems like a reasonable price, but in reality way above market price.

    Non street pack tire width

Although tire manufacturers don't follow this to a tee, the 50 and 55 are a percentage of the first number (tire width) that corresponds to the sidewall height. Many sites like tirerack provide the exact dimensions for comparison.
