    Bringing the Heat

I am lowered on Lethal springs. I ran the Pilot's until they wore down and have to say that they are not for a daily driver. At over $2k a set and only lasting 15k miles, it is not worth the money. The Yokohamas that are on the ST are leaps and bounds a better ride and absolutely no...

Squeaking noise coming from lowering springs

Awesome! Changing springs is always fun.

    Bringing the Heat

That is something I knew going into this. I bought the Pilots thinking that I would be thrashing them in the corners and banging off the line. The truth is that it was all regular miles. As long as my wife is the main driver, these tires will do the job just fine. Plus the Pilots were really...

    Bringing the Heat

First impressions are fantastic! The ride is way smoother than the Pilot SS tires an NO MORE TRAMLINING! Holy shit, this is so much better at less than half the price. No rubbing on anything. Will report back on these after I put some real miles on them

Went in for a tire rotation today and the Pilot SS tires are done. One year and 15k miles, yikes. Going to upsize to 305/40/22. Will report back on any rubbing issues. This gives me the opportunity to swap out that curbed rim at the same time.

Going to post all things done to our ST. My wife still drives it but I'm pretty sure she will be driving something else in a year and I will inherit the ST for more modifications. Shawn Thibodeaux

    Curbed wheel paint?

I use this on black wheels. Works great. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00HE688MA/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&th=1 I curbed a wheel on Saturday, sucks.

    Wider tires?

That's the exact tire brand and size I currently have on my ST. No rubbing at all. Wouldn't buy again for two reasons. Price and wet traction isn't good.

    Official Curbing Thread

Well here it is, curb rash 2.0. I did this one about a month after my wife bounced off a curb. She did enough damage for me to order another wheel. Luckily I didn't install it yet and this is the same wheel she hit a curb with. I may just keep the new wheel in the box to see if we will continue...

Careful with that. My wife told me the same when we bought it and since reneged on that statement. I am afraid to do anything else to her ST as she has threated to go trade it in on something else...lol. I'll wait until the 2024 Lexus GX come out to do some more upgrades. I'll keep the ST.
