    Rear End Failure

I thought the diffs in the 2.3 vs the 3.0 models were different ratios, but according to this they're the same. The difference is between the diff in the King Ranch/Platinum (3.31) vs the ST (3.58)...

Questions about recalls and build date

F150 has the 10R80, the Explorer has the 10R60. Solid rear axle, gear ratio, body on frame, etc., etc. There are a lot of reasons why the F150 has a higher tow rating an explorer. You're gonna end up like this guy. https://www.tiktok.com/@alfredmontaner/video/7155834906495454506

Questions about recalls and build date

If the vehicle is subject to the intake valve recall Ford is extending the power train warranty to 10yrs/100K miles.

Why do i feel like my tires are wearing more outside than inside?

I don't think the "rolled down the driveway" test is considered industry standard.

Questions about recalls and build date

Probably a ton of "boat ramp fail" videos on YouTube where midsized SUVs end up under water due to grossly exceeding their tow rating.

Question, has anyone thought of a way to display engine gauges on there display?

https://www.explorerst.org/threads/obdii-data-on-the-touch-screen.7725/ - basic plain text on your screen. Another option is to use the app on a mounted phone with an OBDII adapter, the various apps (usually paid versions) have configurable gauges. Another more costly option that I'm not...

    Rear End Failure

That sounds more like the widely reported issue of axle hub noise caused by the axle splines. My '23 has started making that noise any time theres an accel/decel at low speeds or put the transmission in reverse. It's the same "ting" or "ping" noise you hear in the video.

    Rear wiper delete.

Looks great, but yeah that mount is stripped to shit. I wonder how that happened.

Throttle Response when Letting of Gas

Are you driving in sport mode? It's probably the transmission holding the gear longer.

    Rear End Failure

They put a diff from a 2.3L Explorer in your ST because they didn't know the difference. Probably a good thing the two have different gear ratios, if they were the same the service dept probably would have sent you on your way with the smaller diff.

What Have You Done To Your Explorer ST Today

Depends on what type of setup you want to run. Always on, parked monitoring? You'll need to tap the fuse panel. On only when the vehicle is powered? You'll need to tap the rear view mirror. That's the easier of the two. If you want to install a rear cam you have to run the wiring through...

    Rear Wiper Sag

I think it's just friction fit. Get a 2 jaw puller, you can probably rent one from Auto Zone or Oreillys, pull it off and reinstall it properly lined up.

    Won’t Start

It's amazing how much a battery malf can effect modern cars. When I had my 2009 G8 GT I was about to head to work, started it up and the damn thing went nuts. The units on the dash changed from Imperial to Metric, the coolant temp gauge pegged to max within like 30 seconds of it running. It...

    Did the Lincoln screen swap

Curious about the blocking of the hvac vent controls. I see from your screenshot there are two options for the system to be upgraded, 8" and 10.1". I would assume the kit for upgrading the 10.1" is adapted to not block the vents.
