Bilsteins and lowering springs substantially changed the character of the X1. Also have DINAN stage 1 on it. Need to sell it - just haven't gotten around to it. Wife said I need to sell it before buying hardware for the ST.

    Post your Dragy times.

I've had the FP tune about a week, otherwise stock, 93 octane. Found a quiet road on the way home from the grocery store. A little uphill, full fuel tank - 5.02 0-60.

    For you suspension experts

I'm really interested in lowering springs. Had Eibach on my BMW X1 (my departure vehicle). But the Eibachs were matched with some Bilstien shocks and struts. My question: I would expect stock springs were matched with the stock shocks and struts - the s&s (I'm assuming) were designed to ride...

What Have You Done To Your Explorer ST Today

Just got my first oil change. It only took 90 minutes in my dealer's badly misnamed "Quick Lane".

Anyway...I got my first chance to do my commute post FP tune. I pretty much took it easy on the way to the office. Miles are about 7 on country road with several red lights, 4 or 5 city with several red lights, and about 34 highway which includes climbing a high and long bridge. On the...

    Yup - I did a launch Friday (on 156 - I know you're local) - all 4 tires squealed...that's never happened before.

    Ford Performance Tune

Genuinely pleased. Did a couple hard accelerations - butt dyno gives 2 thumbs up. Where I live, steady traffic, winding hilly roads, so not easy to do 0-60 dragys. I have a couple that indicate 5.30-ish stock. I'll try to get some in the next few days. Definitely more lift or weight...

    Ford Performance Tune

I installed the Performance tune myself. Loading the new tune into the vehicle was much quicker than downloading the stock tune. Only had time to take a quick spin. I'm smiling.

    Ford Performance Tune

Working my way through it right now - downloading the stock tune - I'd guess it's most of 20 minutes.

I don't know - looks like David London shared his slips with ZFG. If he's running up at Cecil I'd be interested in watching. I'm over in Harford County.

    Ford ST SUV Experience

Was there 2 weeks ago - great time. You'll be catching the leaves on Blue Ridge Pkwy. We stayed 3 nights at Biltmore Hotel, then 2 more nearby with friends. Enjoyed the area.
