    Recall Rear Bolt Fracture?

I still have my 2005 and 2007 Explorer Limited's I ordered new. I don't remember ever receiving any recalls for either of them. They have been very reliable. Everything always works as it should. So far after two years I have not had any problems with my 2022 ST. Only had it to the dealer...

SERVICE ACTION DO NOT DEMONSTRATE OR DELIVER any new in-stock vehicles involved in this safety recall. A complete Dealer Bulletin will be provided to dealers the end of 2nd Quarter, 2024, when it is anticipated that parts ordering information, additional parts inventory and repair instructions...

    New Sync 3 Version 3.4.22251

I received that message yesterday, and also about a year ago. It just means the Ford Pass software has been updated. Nothing to do with Sync.

    Issue with navigation update checks

You may need to wait up to a year before doing a map update. I and others with 2022 models had the same problem. I seems that VINs are not loaded into their data base for map updates until much later. I had mine for nearly a year until I could do that. One day suddenly everybody with 2022 models...

Parts/Components for Cargo Area Management System

The European Explorers offer a shade as shown in this post, but I have seen no way to mount it in ours. https://www.explorerst.org/threads/eu-cargo-shade.4270/#post-55696

    Door keypad issue

This can also occur at any time. We have no control over it and it will shut down access from the phone.

    Door keypad issue

Did you try the app on your phone? Did it say it was in deep sleep? Five days is the exact amount of time for the keypad to shut down. That is not deep sleep mode and the phone access would still work. Having said that, it is certainly possible a battery problem also caused deep sleep but the...

    Door keypad issue

See post #13 here. https://www.explorerst.org/threads/st-key-fob.5024/#post-66856 Just be aware that if the car is not used for five days the door keypad will shut down and cannot be used. Also after two weeks the modem will shut down and the phone access cannot be used. It can also be earlier...

Parts/Components for Cargo Area Management System

Sorry, my mistake. I deleted the post before your reply appeared but you were quick. Just did not look like it until I checked mine. I'll try to be better about checking things before I reply.

Parts/Components for Cargo Area Management System

It is rubber and feels quite rubbery., Just make sure you are talking about the the liner down in the below floor level, not the one that sits above that on the floor. It is really quite nice.

    ST Key Fob

The hardware style keypad buttons on my older Explorers never shut down and are easier to use. I would have much preferred that on these newer vehicles.

    ST Key Fob

Just be aware that if the car is not used for five days the door keypad will shut down and cannot be used. Also after two weeks the modem will shut down and the phone access cannot be used. It can also be earlier than two weeks if it decides to do the battery save thing early, or if it receives...

The "Space GhoST" has lost its powers....

This is a voltmeter that will plug into a car 12 volt outlet. They are commonly available on the Internet. I leave it plugged into the outlet at the front of the console under the lid. It is easily readable while driving when the lid is opened. If I have just been doing short trips it will...

    Roof rack cross bars?

The best cross bars are the factory optional ones on my older Explorers. They both can adjusted along the full length of the roof without tools. They are low profile and sit no higher than the side rails so I leave them on full time. The dark object at the rear is a small roof mount antenna...

Safety Recall 22S27 Rear Axle Bolt Fractures

Yours is not covered under the recall only because it had the e-brake software change done at the factory.

The "Space GhoST" has lost its powers....

I don't think so since that would tell the car your battery is zero days old. Part of the management is knowing how old the battery is.

    Real world mpg

Driving around town I average 20 to 21 mpg. On the highway about 25 mpg. I run 91 octane non-ethanol gas.

    Chime Change

So are we talking about the lane keeping feature available on the button on the tip of the turn signal switch? Not the lane centering feature on the wheel, but the lane keeping feature. When set to do so the lane keeping will provide feedback.
