Does your instrument cluster look like this?

I thought the yellow/red only came up from following, but I feel like it came on when someone was following me to closely, advising me of a rear-collision warning. Does the system look forward and backwards when you're driving? All said, I'm really impressed with the driver support tech. When...

3,500 mi pulling 5,000 lb. RV trailer!

thanks for these posts. My last towing set-up required me to have a brake controller on my truck. (Range Rover). Does the 2020 tech manage the trailer brakes in some sort of adaptive way? I was surprised that with the tow package there wasn't an in-dash brake controller somewhere. TIA!

    Red Caliper Paint peeling off

    Power Seat delays or unresponsive?

Does anyone know why the seat adjustment screen goes unresponsive or has some of the bars grayed out? I had massage on a while back and when I stopped it, it felt like one of the rollers was stuck in place. I tried to adjust it through the screen (and seat side) and felt like it didn't change...

    Steering Question

I'll try to pay more attention to this, but I've found it to be just the opposite. I think it feels great in all conditions. The smaller ST steering wheel will feel a lot different than the daily driver you've got. Maybe it's just a function of a smaller radius? hope it's alright in the end.

    UNBROKEN’s Iconic Silver ST build

not all heroes wear capes... haha, that would definitely bother the hell out of me, but I don't know that I'd make the effort you did. All your work on this looks really sharp. I've got the white model and I'm not sure if removing the badging on the front would look as good as it does on your...

    First towing experience, fantastic......

I am positive that the ST can pull wayyy more than the 5600lbs. I had a Range Rover rated for 7200lbs towing and I pulled a trailer that was easily 7500lbs when loaded up with water and camping gear, etc. Aside from the mileage, I couldn't even feel the trailer with that thing and I'm sure the...

    UNBROKEN’s Iconic Silver ST build

I went to "kick open" the tailgate and bumped the air deflector. I couldn't believe how floppy it was! I thought it'd come unattached from something. this looks nice. is the deflector just a second part oft he rest of the rear trim?

    Driver assistance question...

just a guess here, but did you use the same key when you got back in? A lot of settings match the key fobs.

Name ONE ST Feature others might not know.....

Just learned yesterday that putting on a rack and some bicycles WILL trigger the reverse brake assist! I thought I slammed the bikes into the garage roof or something! All clear, tried reversing again and the same thing happened, strong sudden stop. I laughed when I realized what the problem...

Name ONE ST Feature others might not know.....

I had this feature on a model year 2002 BMW 3 series. They only went down and the reason was so that you didn't accidentally close them if you had a pet or child in the car.

What is done with the Preferred Plus service at purchase?

HI all, I just got my ST and paid for the extended warranty and also picked up the preferred plus package. Basically it covers paint chips, door dings, and rim repair/replacement. I live in Western PA which has some horrible potholes (that ate a rim on my last car...) It seemed worth it to...

    Ford ST SUV Experience

I just bought my 2020 ST and was surprised that the salesman didn't mention anything about this during the sale. While I was waiting on the paperwork, the Ford guy in the cube next to him told me about it. It's in fine print on the bottom of the window sticker. A course like that has at least...

What’s the fastest you had your ST

I was stationed in Germany for 4yrs. (just south of Mainz) I had a BMW 325 that I bought there in late 2001. It would peg at 130 and about 5k RPM in 5th gear. (which honestly, was fast enough). Amazingly, I'd still get about 20mpg! Those are amazing highways and It'd be fun having the ST...

What did your Ford Explorer ST replace?

2010 Range Rover Sport, Supercharged 5.0L. incredible truck (built when Ford owned Rover). Bottomless power, but with nearly 120k miles, I was getting bottomless maintenance on it too. It was time to go and I'm glad Ford came out with these STs as a viable replacement for a high-power...

    Your ST's pet name??

Whitey. as in Whitey Ford, a long ago Yankees player. We had a giant White expedition in 2009 and that was what we and the kids called it. When I got this White ST, we brought the name back.

New ST owner - happy to be here

Hi everyone, I'm one week into owning my 2020 ST and it's been awesome. I'm leaving behind a 2010 Range Rover Sport, which was on its own an incredible vehicle. (it was the model era when Ford owned Land Rover, so a lot of the tech has transferred b/t the two.) I miss the 510HP and 490lbs...
