Drivability problem this morning, need opinions

Thanks guys, I have a feeling I'll be taking it in to have this checked out. I just ran my errand and after being on the battery charger the throttle seems fine again and no lack of response from a stand still. Another odd thing that started recently is on hard acceleration there is a smell...

Drivability problem this morning, need opinions

Hey all, I was heading out for an errand, started the vehicle let it run a few for the RPM's to drop and when I put the vehicle in reverse the RPM's dropped and the engine started stumbling bad, the battery icon on the dash flickered, vehicle wouldn't move and I wasn't even able to turn the...

    Interior lighting

It was removed on the 21+ models... A few people have looked into it and the wiring was even removed to make it a quick add sadly. For me the center console light would have been the nice one to have.

    Remote Start

I forget where it is, but make sure that remote start is enabled in the vehicle settings as well.

ATL - ST Tuxedo according to the dealer. It has a sparkle for sure.... Loving the performance, not loving some of the afterthoughts.

If you are saying the dealer told you the color is Tuxedo Black then they were wrong. Unless they did a custom paint job the Explorer ST hasn't been offered in that color. I don't think Ford even using it anymore. I had a 2013 Focus ST in Tuxedo Black, the metallic was VERY easy to see. Look at...

    Black door pillar trim

Because the black plastic on my 2013 Focus ST got so bad I decided to have the same place that did the clear bra also wrap the A & B pillars to hopefully prevent the same from happening.

Driver seat clicking noise and loose leather

I still have this issue and had the TSB done for the noisy/moving seat issue. The movement might be a little better, but the clicking is just beyond bad. I have a bad feeling it's the massaging parts inside and the dealer will end up saying "it's normal".

    Whipple intercooler

I ordered from Whoosh as well and it's all on Whipple as it's drop shipped. I was in the same boat where I got a shipping notification but it took a couple weeks for it to actually ship due to brackets as well. It may take some time but I'm sure it will ship.

    Drop springs and alignment.

I had Steeda springs installed last week and there was no problem getting the alignment in spec.

    Back-up Camera Issues

I dropped off my vehicle yesterday for other warranty work and before I left the advisor told me there was this recall, it's a software update only so they are going to be doing that while it's in the shop.

    Just installed a Whipple intercooler.

I went with rivnuts as a replacement for the rivets. Figured this would make it easier to remove in the future if ever needed. I have a couple photos in this post (click).

    Ford ST experience trip

They are to swap out the red that come on the vehicle. I recently swapped them out. https://www.explorerst.org/threads/what-have-you-done-to-your-st-today.889/post-31744

What Have You Done To Your Explorer ST Today

Finally got the Steeda springs installed today. Stock is the top photo, it's not the easiest to see the difference in these, but the front wheel gap shows it for sure

    2021 Explorer ST Headlights

This horizontal screen orientation makes way more sense than what they did in the Explorer! Really wish they had done the same. I'm guessing like this the rear view camera is way more useful as well.

ZFG: I guess I'm a fanboy now too

What I did was put the vehicle in Manual mode get to third, around 2500 rpms started logging and WOT to 6000 or slightly above, shifted then safely pulled over and stopped the logging and saved it. Also not sure if you know, but the spacebar is a keyboard shortcut to start and stop logging, WAY...

    Oil catch cans

My vehicle will never see a track, after seeing what others have posted about what it collects and prevents from going back into the engine and potentially causing build up on the valves is why I decided to do it.

    Photo Request for comparison

it was reused, went back to the shop today and they are ordering a new one. When I go back to have that installed they are also going to throw on the black ST badges I got from the SUV experience at no cost. One less thing for me to do, lol.

    Photo Request for comparison

Hey all, I got my vehicle back from the body shop after the accident and I feel like there is more of a gap between the bumper and hatch weather seal than there used to be. Could anyone confirm if this is normal? I also noticed that the bumper guard it's flat like it should be, so I'll be...
