    Gas mileage

Ford quotes the fuel capacity at 20.2 gallons. So, if you really pumped in 20 gallons, it was completely empty. Something is very wrong.

    New Sync 3 Version 3.4.22251

More Sync 3 good news. :ROFLMAO: https://www.techspot.com/news/99816-ford-owners-using-sync-3-infotainment-turn-off.html

windshield replacement - go with Ford? or aftermarket?

Safelite will also quote you on the OEM glass if you ask. I found the service used by local Ford dealers and they were cheaper than Safelite. I paid extra for the Ford glass and am satisfied.

    Car Tender

For sure it’ll got into Deep Sleep but, I agree it will likely fire up just fine for you. If you’ve still concerned and a trickle charger isn’t a possibility, maybe you could install something like this…

    Deep Sleep???

No. It’s all buttoned up. All I do is pop the hood and connect the charger near the left front fender.

    Sorry for advertising Ford’s reliability

You voided the warranty when you installed those damping hood lifts.

    Deep Sleep???

All I do now is pop the hood, plug in the charger and let it go.

Ford dealer over filled my engine

I’d keep using this dealer. Considering the current cost of oil, he’s extremely generous. :ROFLMAO:

    Deep Sleep???

For me, “deep sleep” is just a nuisance. I’m betting your ST will fire up just fine after two weeks. You just won’t be able to do it from afar.

    Deep Sleep???

I recently bought a Noco Genius 1 and that keeps the battery topped off. When Amazon delivers the 10’ extension cable, I will hardwire it to the battery. The Genius is under $30 on Amazon.

What Have You Done To Your Explorer ST Today

Thanks for posting this. I found them on Amazon and I‘m tempted. One thing I wondered about is why they didn’t use something like a toggle bolt for attachment to the hood. That would eliminate the hassle of trying to fish the nut around blindly.

My 2003 Mini Cooper came with these from the factory. :ROFLMAO:

    New Sync 3 Version 3.4.22251

I just found this on FordPass. Is this telling me Sync 3 has been updated (it has not) or simply the vehicle’s FordPass software?

Ford Police Interceptor Protects Officers After Being Hit In Accident (everyone's okay)

It warms my heart to see so many citizens rush to the officer’s side.

I bought the C1 and am happy with it. I don’t think a brake light that low would do much good. The C1 provides backup and running light (one or the other at a time).

    What’s wrong with this picture?

I had just filled it after my wife’s trip to the mountains. It was 350ish miles of nothing but highways in Eco. So, I suspect the calculation is based on expecting another tankful of 24 mpg.

    Jump Starter

I was just now poking around under the hood. I’m thinking a connection to the positive at the fuse block (driver’s side) and to a nearby frame bolt.
