Steeda vs H&R vs Eibach decision

Looks great! Looks great! Have you had any issues with rubbing? I just ordered a set of 22x10.5 +30 offset wheels and are planning on using 295/40R22's which are a shorter tire than you are using. Also have you towed with the eibach springs and had any issues? I'm trying to decide between the...

    Steeda Subframe bushings

Just saw your reply. I'm back to bone stock as I'm on my 4th rear diff if you count the original. The original RDU is the one I had the Steeda front pinion bushings, subframe spacers, and RDU brace on. That was the one in my original post that had been replaced. The dealership reinstalled the...

    Rear End Failure

I'd wonder the same thing. Isn't that what gets replaced with a solid shaft

    Rear End Failure

Those are all good questions. I always considered 8.8" rdu's to be good units. The one in my 95 tbird is still going strong

    Rear End Failure

Mine did ok with the S606D, the first replacement, it just didn't last very long. Hopefully this S604D does.

    Rear End Failure

You're welcome and I hope no one else had to go through this. Hopefully Ford gets its shit together soon.

    Rear End Failure

Ok so my ST is FINALLY fixed after 2 months and 2 dealerships. I had to take it back to the original dealership to get it fixed. I gave them the info from the second dealership about the rdu being the wrong one. Neither dealership could find the part with my vin# as the search would say there...

    Rear End Failure

That is actually the first rdu they put in my ST after the original went out. Then after about 700 miles i started getting a vibration when accelerating and a loud howling noise so they replaced it again with the S602D and that's when the bucking started. Then they said my transfer case was...

    Rear End Failure

That's what i finding out, the S602D is for the Platinum and 3.31 gear ratio.

    Rear End Failure

To the guys that have had the wrong rear diff installed, what was the part number of the correct one that was installed? I'm getting conflicting part numbers from different dealerships? I'm being told S604D by 2 dealerships and S602D by 2 others. The S602D is currently in my ST and that's...

    Rear End Failure

That's what I'm thinking because it does buck like a bronco. I'm going to the dealership again tomorrow and hopefully that's the conclusion they come to before I get there

    Rear End Failure

I'll be talking to them again tomorrow and plan on showing them this post. I've told both dealerships it's possible the right part was ordered and the wrong one sent

    Rear End Failure

Here's an update on my saga. So the original dealership replaced my transfer case and I still have the same issue, a vibration coming from the rear when I accelerate and if I keep pushing down on the accelerator it starts jerking and bucking. I can actually hear the rear ties break loose with...

    Rear End Failure

That's what I was thinking too. I'm definitely going to have them check to make sure it's the correct rear diff.

    Rear End Failure

Just had my rear diff replaced again for a howling noise at 45 mph. My 21 has 35,000 miles on it. Only had 700 miles on the 1st rear diff replacement. Picked it up from the dealership, had a very bad vibration, jerking and "bucking". Took it back and now the transfer case is being replaced...wth

    Rear End Failure

Same here, clunking noises from rear end. I took it to the dealership and was told the rear diff was eating itself, 2021 ST with 33,000 miles. They replaced the rear diff and drivers side axle as the boot was torn under warranty.

    Steeda Subframe bushings

To me it felt like play in the rear diff itself, and clunking from the rear diff at low speeds and going to and from drive. Everything was still torqued to spec. I had about 30,000 miles on my 21 when I installed the rear subframe spacers, front pinion bushings and diff brace. I currently...

    Steeda Subframe bushings

That's the same issue I had. Mine has 33,600 miles on it currently. I haven't heard any clunking after the new diff install but i also haven't reinstalled the diff brace

    Steeda Subframe bushings

I had around 30,000 miles on my '21 when I installed all 3. I still have the subframe spacers and front pinion bushings but haven't reinstalled the rear diff brace yet. I'm going to have the fluid changed after 500 miles, and the diff brace would be in the way. I'm on the fence now about...

    Steeda Subframe bushings

lol Lol, I have them all the time! After I read your post, I called the dealership to tell them I wanted to use the bushings I put in and they said they would reuse them and I'm still covered under warranty
