My ST has an overhead cargo light as well as a pax side light, though it (the overhead) was switched off when I brought it home.

I'm betting on software issue over hardware issue, did they check to make sure all the software updates were done to your ST. My New ST spent a full morning at the dealer to get software updates this past summer.

Which stock tires though? Even ST's could come from the factory/or dealer with different tires.
