    Rear End Creeking

After spending a lot of time and money trying to pinpoint the cause of the creaking noise in the rear suspension compressing and recoiling over bumps and just reading BrooseDaMoose Feb 21 post, I'd have to agree with him. The culprit are my FenFab Vertical Links connected at the lower control...

    Rear End Creeking

Swaybar bushings changed, creaking noise over bumps persists. ….continuing down the rabbit hole to find the source of this sound and remove it! Other considerations: rear springs, shocks, ball joints and pinch welds bent up at vehicle lift points from shops that don’t do better. Anyone else...

    Rear End Creeking

I've been waiting to see if others have the issue with creaking noises to the rear of the vehicle when going over bumps. BrooseDaMoose: when did the creaking 1st begin with your ST? Before suspension mods - Steeda springs, sway bar, etc? Or after? Mileage of vehicle when it began? Here's my...

Single bolt diff brace, cold weather driveline vibrations

After having the rear diff recall done - changing of single diff bolt and bushing in rear carrier, amongst all other bolts they changed, which were many. I added some stuff. Steeda: Rear Diff Brace, Rear Swaybar End Links, Non-adjustable Toe Links, Rear Diff Pinion Bushing Kit, ST Subframe...

HOLY limited 21 inch rim options!!

I agree, if your keeping the 21 inch rims for winter use, which 21 winter tires are quite expensive, you might as well go for 22 inch for summer use. My wife wanted to keep the 21 inch oem black rims for summer use and we bought aftermarket 20 inch for winter using 255/50R20 size for which there...

Thinking of replacing the Pirelli's with Snow-Rated

We’ve been using Nokian Hakkapeliitta R3 SUV tires. Considered Blizzak tires but the Nokians are a winter tire full tread, unlike the Blizzaks that are best to only 50% tread. 21 inch tires are pricey and not a lot of options. So we downsized our winters to the other ST tire size of 255/50R20...

Safety Recall 22S27 Rear Axle Bolt Fractures

Was at a Ford Dealer a couple weeks ago. Looked under three vehicles in the showroom: two 2023Explorer ST's, one 2023 Lincoln Aviator and one Police Explorer parked outside. Here are the pictures: 2023 Explorer ST (3 bolt) & 2023 Explorer ST 3 (bolt) 2023 Lincoln Aviator (4 bolt) & Police...

    Fordpass or Forscan

I find FordPass confusing. When we bought our 2021 ST we started our account with FordPass and could see both our vehicles on there, the 2021 Explorer ST and 2015 F250. While the App has more functions available for the ST due to its overall connectivity....start/stop, lock/unlock, view tire...

Driver Lower Seat Panel - Outboard Side

Passenger side outer seat panel replaced once under warranty so far. Same replaced panel also broke, just haven't said anything to dealer yet.

Safety Recall 22S27 Rear Axle Bolt Fractures

I just don't understand the logic behind having the e-brake reprogramed to come on all the time when park is selected. Ford concerned about a roll away vehicle if the axle bolts breaks. Won't one notice there's an issue right away. Wouldn't one use the parking brake on their own at this time...

    Coolant Leak at 900km

Part re-engineered? What part was that? Do you have the part number?

    Coolant Leak at 900km

In that case it sounds like Ford has an assembly line issue imo. When I tried calling Ford Customer Service about it, they couldn’t of cared less. I wonder if Ford gives a damn about this issue. They would if it had been 2 warranty claims for blown engines due to coolant starvation.

    Coolant Leak at 900km

Did they document it with pictures? Curious if it actually was the “same” thing being an improperly tensioned clamp and to what connection? Mine was to the oil cooler.

    Coolant Leak at 900km

Happens twice?? You had a hose come off because of an improperly set hose clamp twice now? What hoses came off.

    Alberta Explorer ST Owners

Happy Canada Day Mobius87 you’re parked up the street from my parents. Had to leave the ST at home, too much to bring, took the truck.

    Stock Speakers.

Thanks for the link, an interesting read. Most people will want to take a simple and cheap approach to sound "improvement". And if they follow the link and read it, they will see that: "Attempting to reduce road noise by only doing a few areas (like just the doors) is usually a waste of time...

Safety Recall 22S27 Rear Axle Bolt Fractures

If Explorer ST owners in the United States and Canada worked towards creating a unified voice (if possible) expressing our discontent as a whole to Ford with respect to the performance model of the Explorer, the ST. It is being manufactured with an inferior rear subframe, when a superior rear...

Safety Recall 22S27 Rear Axle Bolt Fractures

Will changing your rear subframe from the one bolt that was installed on the vehicle to the two bolt rear subframe that wasn't going to affect the vehicle's overall warranty? For installing a part that wasn't on the vehicle at build with another part substituted?

    New aFe strut tower brace

Can repaint either bar any color you want. I purchased the Steeda strut tower brace & rear stabilizer bars last summer and had both powder coated red, like the brake calipers. The design of the AFE strut tower brace looks good. I doubt either is better than the other ultimately. Go with...
