Introducing Thermal R&D 3-inch Exhaust system! (Sound Clips)

It's a reasonable questions, but bigger isn't always better. You might see a difference between a dual 3" and dual 2.5" at around 1,200 hp. Think about this fact for a moment- there are T3 frame turbochargers with compressor outputs that are a single 2.5" outlet which flow 80+ lbs/minute mass...

    For those with 5star

The tunes will make the same power- the various "Drive modes" don't affect the tune per se. They are just modifiers to other elements like shift points, AWD engagement, Torque converter lockup, and throttle position. Remember that the throttle is no longer attached by a cable. What you once...

    Real world mpg

It might be optimistic- hard to tell. On a 2.5k road trip I checked the gas mileage over the entire trip on the highway. My measurements came in at 24.9 mpg. Computer showed 25.6. So in my case, not 10%, but a bit optimistic. Now bear in mind, my measurements are limited to the number of...

    Custom car mats

In my head I'm hearing the theme song from the Munsters! Looks like the Munster-mobile! Except maybe for the crucifix- so maybe "hearse" is the appropriate word. To each his own.

Honks and Chimes, Cool Vibes and Fun Times...

Have you read the manual? Because some of the issues you present are listed in there. For example, if you want to leave the keyfob in the vehicle you leave certain sensors on, which will deplete the battery sooner. The honk is to remind you that the key is still in the vehicle- yes, it is a...

    Deep Sleep Mode

I would bet leaving the fob in the car causes certain sensors to stay active leading to a higher drain on the battery. At this point, I'd agree with @GearHead_1; your battery is compromised.

Reg auto mods VS sport mode

I get what you're saying @StoneColdBlue22 ! But it what I was addressing was the OP writing about 70-30 torque splits etc. That is not a real thing. The only percentage is the amount of engagement in the FWD clutches. It has NOTHING to do with the amount of torque being sent from front to...

Reg auto mods VS sport mode

Sport mode doesn't add any more power. It does affect the throttle response, shift points, torque converter/clutch, and the FWD actuation. It doesn't have an adaptive suspension, so the modes do not affect anything suspension-wise. As far as the percentage of front to rear bias- This is not...

FS 2021 ST Black on Black w/ Tech Package

I have less miles on mine. Though it's a 2020, if CarMax wants to write me a check for over $54k, I'm gonna take that money and run!

If CarMax offered $56k and it doesn't fit your needs, you need to run to them for a check!

Anyone get frustrated with people thinking you are a cop?

You're missing the point. No one cares if you smoke pot. We're making fun of you 'cuz every post you make sounds as if you're higher than a kite. So, keep smoking and keep making goofy posts. I mean, it's only your credibility at stake.

Explorer ST Adapt-X Tune (OEM Octane Learning and drivability)

Right up until you posted this message, I was willing to stay quiet and see where this was headed. But then you posted those numbers. So I'll assume you're talking about highway driving since in-town traffic conditions, etc are nearly impossible to measure unless you're doing some fixed CAFE...

Safety Recall 22S27 Rear Axle Bolt Fractures

I know that it's tempting to keep "bumping" this and your "poll" thread, but you're missing the entire point. It also shows that you never took a statistics class! The very fact that you're an order of magnitude away from Ford's published figures should be enough to convince you that your poll...

SPD 170 Thermostat install. Worth it???

I could write quite a bit on this subject. A 170 thermo won't make much difference to an ST; it also will not gain you any horsepower. Most of the people (vendors) who supply these things are selling to people who still are thinking of carburetors, and heated intake manifolds, where that...

Safety Recall 22S27 Rear Axle Bolt Fractures

I'd be far more worried about the problem with the 7-6 downshift than I would be with the rear bolt failure. The idea that at a high speed the trans would lock up (attributed to a bad spring) is far more worrying.
