    My order’s journey- Complete!

I sympathize that some people are frustrated because Ford, like every other manufacturer, is having trouble with supply chain and chip issues. So what's your suggestion on how they handle it since you believe it's "been unacceptable on so many levels"? Perhaps they should just stop selling...

    Rolling backward holding brake ?

I have had something like this happen- I believe it has something to do with a software glitch in the switch-off between automated braking and manual braking. It has only happened in reverse. It does brake, but the pedal feels soft and isn't consistent until I've come to a complete stop. I...

    Rolling backward holding brake ?

The problem does not have anything to do with vacuum or lack thereof, nor does it take any time after the engine is started "for the vacuum to build". Even then, the brakes are not dependent on vacuum to stop the car, or you wouldn't be able to stop the car if the engine failed suddenly or the...

    Rolling backward holding brake ?

The ST does have a vacuum pump driven off the cam drive. There's no reason for it to roll at all. I park on an incline- and a pretty steep one every day for over two years with mine and have never experienced it move at all with my foot on the brake.

    aFe Intakes for the 22’s

A lot of problems with oiled filters in the past was because those vehicles were also running MAF equipment. It was not uncommon for someone to "over-oil" the element which would end up on the MAF hotwire and eventually cause problems. While most of those type of hotwire systems are engineered...

    Rear end damage

Welcome! A really nice write-up, but I'm not sure if it's entirely relevant. I don't think the ST with the current isolator has enough metal inside the isolator to install a much larger bolt, and while a larger bolt will certainly be harder to break, it hasn't changed the durometer of the...

    Please help me.

The OP did not specify whether he visited a Ford dealer. He is from South Korea as he says, and might not have even consulted a Ford dealer. Also, the warranties are limited by mileage, so if it had over 36k miles regardless of age, it might not have been covered. So let's wait until he posts...

    Please help me.

How many miles on your vehicle? What year is it? If it is still under warranty, you have to make an appointment at a Ford dealership. They should not charge you to check out the problems. I would not be concerned about auto-start/stop not working. It does not work if you are in Sport Mode...

    Transmission/Shifting Stall !!!!!!!

It could be fuel- see here: https://www.explorerst.org/threads/loss-of-power-today-no-boost.3815/post-49141 https://www.explorerst.org/threads/loss-of-power.2423/post-52348 Start by resetting the computer as posted in latter thread. Then you move on to harder things! Another poster on a...

    AS1 Valvetronic Exhaust Build

Not to mention the V-band fabrication. When are you selling these?

Dragy 10Hz, RaceBox 10Hz or RaceBox Mini 25Hz?

Any pilots out there? These electronic boxes are calculating altitude via barometric pressure. Sea level is thought to be 14.7 psi. From there you use an algorithm to calculate. However, if there's a high pressure or low pressure front weatherwise, that calculation is incorrect. Temperature...

Dragy 10Hz, RaceBox 10Hz or RaceBox Mini 25Hz?

You take this stuff way too personal. If my posts are "incoherent rants", then you should probably continue to block me. I'm pointing out that you seem ignorant of how temperature and altitude are calculated,. From your post, I can only assume that only replies acceptable to you are deemed...

Dragy 10Hz, RaceBox 10Hz or RaceBox Mini 25Hz?

So it's mounted inside of the vehicle where it might be 70 due to A/C. It also has to calculate elevation from barometric pressure which fluctuates based on atmospheric conditions. Now, I don't own a Dragy, but if you're saying the barometer and temps are external and mounted outside, I'm...

Couple New Scams out there. Plz be careful!

    I am "weary" alright.

    Thoughts on this mod?

No. It's a way to create a lower pressure zone which will allow higher pressure areas (in this case gasoline vapors and possibly crankcase vapors) to be reintroduced into the engine to be burnt rather than to vent them to the atmosphere. Forget about "boost leak". Instead, think of it as a...

    Thoughts on this mod?

You're absolutely right. Using boost pressure through a smaller orifice (jet, nozzle, ejector) causes the velocity to increase. The increase in velocity produces a decrease in pressure. When used with a properly sized orifice this will make a vacuum, the same way carburetors and paint sprayers...

    Thoughts on this mod?

Technically, it is a "boost leak", but it's minuscule. I doubt very highly it's 0.5 psi (how it that being measured, and what does it have to do with actual mass airflow?) It's there on purpose to supply a way to purge cannister vapors (and possibly crankcase ventilation) during boost...

    Thoughts on this mod?

After a bit of research, that "pipe" is part of the EVAP system which prevents hydrocarbon emissions from entering the atmosphere by storing fuel vapors and routing the vapors to the engine to be consumed during normal engine operation. I did not find any info that it was also used for...

I love the inventiveness...but I hope the follow up post won't be "and then the paint started to peel". ;)

    Best Fuel?

You are right. You will give up some torque/HP over a higher octane fuel. Perhaps in older vehicles which weren't able to adjust timing/enrichment on the fly, you might have seen more deposit build up, but I can't see any reason why 87 would leave more deposits in the ST. In higher mileage...
