    Tire pressure for 22" wheels

Not too low? Aviator calls for 38 with 22s. I would like to run lower pressure for a little less harsh ride.

    Hello from New Jersey!

He did it as a learning experience. He has never wrapped the roof of an explorer without a sun roof. I only paid for the material. He wasted the first sheet because of all the ridges on the roof. Material + his employees cost was $400. Sorry for no help.

    Has anyone done Bora spacers?

I ran 3/4 front and 1 rear. Had to trim both to work with stock 21" st wheels. Upgrading wheels now and had to replace front studs to have enough thread for the new wheels (easy job). I tried 1" front and 1.25" rear originally and didn't like all the crap being kicked up by the edge of the...

    Wheel stud replacement (easy)

I could not find any any information on replacing wheel studs on explorers ST so decided to post this quick write up. I cut my studs to accommodate for 19mm bora spacers and oem wheels. New wheels don't need spacers, thicker at the hub and were only getting 5-6 full rotations on the lug nut. 1...

    Hello from New Jersey!

I'm happy with the outcome. Mike told me that ceramic coat is a waste of money because black wrap does not last as log due to sun exposure and constant shrink/expand cycles. He told me that it'll last without any issues for 3-5 years as long as I keep it clean.

    Hello from New Jersey!

Call Mike from Wrap That in East Hanover. Tell him Nick rexommended him and mention Alex from tropic window tinting. They'll take care of you. They did not remove roof rails.

    Mass_ST Build Thread

Rears are super easy if you have internal spring compressor. Took me and my son 45min to do both sides this weekend. 1. Jack the entire rear end in the middle, remove tires and sway bar links on both sides 2. Set jack stands under LCAs and lower the jack letting both springs fully compress 3...

    Mass_ST Build Thread

I did realize that Eibachs lower that much. I went with h&r and after 200mi. the drop is 1.3f and 1.5r. Looks like eibachs dropped full 2" in the front. Looks great thought!

    H&R install and first impressions

Regardless of the lettering, when you seat the spring onto the strut assembly, it will not sit straight up and will try to tilt to one side. This is normal because top plate is what has to be flush and straight and no the bottom. Some people get confused because the spring tilts sideways. If you...

    H&R install and first impressions

This topic has probably been discussed many times over but I would like to add a few details that I discovered during install. 1. Rear springs: I only had to take 1 bolt off to remove and install rear springs - sway bar link bolt. I used the jack to compress rear spring and then inserted inside...

Steeda vs H&R vs Eibach decision

Great looking ST! Ordering H&Rs now... will try ford's suggestion for rear spring swap, using internal spring compressor. One of my buddies works for ford service department in Florida and he said that rear spring comes out super easy if you use internal spring compressor, there is even a hole...

Steeda vs H&R vs Eibach decision

I see that some people commenting that eibachs settle as low as h&r. Is that true?
