Several warranty issues- have you had the same?

Glad to hear the new one is behaving itself. Buyback was signed on June 30 and the loan was paid off on July 9. Ford reimbursed us the entire purchase amount, plus tax, title, license and any dealer options that were rolled into the loan (all weather mats, locking lug nuts, etc.). We are out...

Several warranty issues- have you had the same?

I was wondering how your replacement ST is treating you and what the build date is.

The loan was finally paid off yesterday and I actually got a little money back from credit union.

I forgot to mention that I reported the safety issues I was having with the powertrain to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), so they can keep a record of the problems and issue a recall if there is enough data to warrant one. Here's the link, in case anyone else needs...

    Buyback Data

Happy to help. It’s been a process to say the least. Despite everything we went through, we were still sad the day we signed the buyback papers and cleaned out the vehicle. We had literally not laid eyes on it since February 15, but it still looked as awesome as the day we bought it. Ford...

I agree, this is a lawsuit waiting to happen. Glad you survived the wreck, and hope you're back on your feet soon!

    Buyback Data

Our buyback took ten weeks from the time that it was approved until the actual papers were signed. The loan payoff check is being delivered via FedEx today to my credit union, so call it 11 weeks from the time it was approved until it was paid off. For us, it took a little over 20 weeks from...

    Buyback Data

Our dealer has been so great through all of this. They have gone above and beyond to help us out, and we will continue to give them our business for sure.

    Buyback Data

Interesting about the Telluride. We actually came very close to getting one before the ST caught our attention. Speaking if making two payments, we wound up buying a 2018 Explorer Platinum. 29K miles and fully loaded, except the headrest screens for $35K. The suspension is a little soft, but...

This Ford ST is turning out to be a major piece of SHI*!!

Take pictures when it happens. This helps document your case, as well as provide information for the service department. It‘s now a safety issue and you might want to consider asking for a replacement vehicle.

Looks like the paperwork will be done at the end of the month now. Patience is a virtue.

Problem on first day, powertrain warning

Yeah, they flew in a tech on two different occasions to look at it. They are still no closer to figuring it out then when we first brought it in the week after we got it. We're going to pass on getting any 2020 Explorer at this point. My wife is looking at 2018 and 2019 Platinums this week.

Several warranty issues- have you had the same?

It's been a cluster to say the least. Our Customer Service rep was kind of rude and not in a rush to help us, plus she blamed the delay on the whole COVID-19 crap. The RAV guy has been cool, but has been dragging his feet for over two months and I have ANOTHER payment due tomorrow and they...

Problem on first day, powertrain warning

Who knows at this point? Ford dealer can't figure it out, and they've had it since February 15th. Ford corporate has flown in several tech guys over the past 17 weeks and they can't figure it out either. Hoping to sign the buyback paperwork this week and move on to something else.
