2025 Explorer ST Owners Please Guide

If you want to avoid Ford denying a powertrain warranty claim, keep it stock. I'm not saying a tuned or otherwise modified vehicle gets denied every time but it is a possibility. A tune could be blamed for nearly every powertrain claim. Other mods that are less likely to get blamed do not do...

    2026 rear sway bar replacement

GROK claims build dates after 4/13/26 have gas particulate filters. If I had a GPF, I would use a low ash oil like Mobil 1 ESP 5W-30 (no Ford approvals).

Yours also sit lower than mine, something changed over the years. 18.5" hub center to fender on the rear.

Lowering Springs: Lethal, Eibach, Steeda, H&R PROS and CONS

My H&Rs rear springs make noise because the dead coils make contact without isolators. H&R sent out isolators as a fix but I will occasionally get a muffled clunk. My issue has been reported by others as well. I spoke with Eibach on their use of isolators and they said they found the dead...

    Wheel and tire sanity check

Can't say I really noticed a rougher ride with mine but did notice more tramlining. Pretty sure your sidewalls are stiffer than mine which would make a difference. You check the PSI?

    2025 Oil Capacity

On yours, provided the holes are in the same spots as mine (looks like it) and your oil reaches the beginning of the bent when you pull it from a cold engine, that should be roughly 6.5 qts and where I keep mine.

Gas Prices to dang high!!!! What is needed to run E85

And don't forget you will need roughly 25% more volume of ethanol than pump gas. Solution, get your fuel at Costco (lower in price) while using your Citi Costco card (5% cash back).

    2025 Oil Capacity

Interesting. So it appears a delay in pressure drop after the launch but before the first gear shift? Would make sense, pick up full at launch, slosh then lower pressure before back to pressure before the first gear change. 18psi is not great. I think someone has done 7qts but I am not sure...

    UNBROKEN’s Iconic Silver ST build

If you happen to road force I’d be curious the results prior to correction. Thankfully the Explorer is not very sensitive to road force but once over 30 lbs it becomes pretty noticeable.

They should have a road force machine: Discount Tire - Mobile, AL 965 Schillinger RD S Mobile, AL 36695

    Wheel and tire sanity check

I road force every tire I mount. When I find a tire with too much force I have them swap it out. I feel a round tire is important and without doing a road force in addition to the balance you will never know.

If you get them road forced, I'd be curious the lbs they showed up with before correction.
