this question would be a good one for @UNBROKEN too. Just so I'm clear on Fen Fab's setup, SPD's setup, and the ST's stock setup... (i tried crawling under my truck to see but couldn't make out much--its 25 degrees, very dark, and the concrete is very cold)... he has pre-cat sensor bungs on...

you still owe us pics of the hood in the sunlight. i think im going to copy you and wrap my hood, side view mirror caps, "stock" carbon trim, and center console in forged carbon.

for real. i've been talking to my vinyl guy though about wrapping these pieces instead of using these overlays--i think my decision is going to come down to how these look installed.

How close is the pattern to your CarbonTastic wheel pattern? Does it clash with the stock dash piece?

This pisses me off to no end... why do dealers always have to be lying pieces of sh*t. You would think they would actually try to shake that reputation so people wouldn't hate them. But seriously, the dealer model for selling cars in this country BLOWS.

Exactly. The same will go for Fen Fab. Building exhaust for a truck thats in your shop is completely different than building an exhaust from a template. The first couple online orders that get installed should be interesting to see. I REALLY hope he gets it right... his work is soooo pretty.

Whoa there boss... its Friday. We can take things down a notch. I was just trying to throw an idea out about why it has taken so long for any CAI solutions to come out. Perhaps the manufacturers are having trouble putting together a package that makes financial sense for them. For example, K&N...

I don't think there is much incentive. I've moved on to working on upgrading other aspects of the air/fuel setup. The cost/benefit just isn't there for this vehicle. The stock system is REALLY good and to make any meaningful improvements would require extensive replacement of stock piping...

The new Defender has a pretty trick built in air compressor for adjusting tire pressures. You have to get out of the truck so its no Humvee or Unimog, but would be cool to see more vehicles come with that.
