Cruise control behaves differently in each mode, including accelerating upon resuming. It takes it easy on the gas in eco versus sport or normal. I use sport in town to accelerate from the stop lights.

Regularly use eco on the highway and sport in the urban areas. The rest of the modes are wasted on me. I do like how the vehicle in the adaptive cruise control array changes based on your mode.

Don't mind the dirt, I live on a gravel road.
