    Confused on packages

I actually like the big screen- looks a bit more hi-tech and since I usually have it on the nav screen, it used the screen real estate nicely. Also like the upgrade with sound and seats.

    Shut down, everything stays on.

It was definitely a problem with the lights staying on. Funny thing, I turned them to off to solve the problem. Get it the car next day and it's in the "auto" setting. That 'switch' is not really a switch as such, just a rotary knob. But it hasn't recurred since so who knows?

Aftermarket Tune Rankings and issues you may have had.

I get it that if you've got 93(E10) and add E85 you're going to have a higher octane. So the Gearhead "PE30" tune requires you blend? Good information if you don't want to deal with calculating at the pump. I assumed (incorrectly) that he lived someplace where that type of pump gas was the 93...

can you shut of the adaptive cruise auto brake/gas

Yes, look at owner's manual. I've turned all those features off through the touchscreen.

How different are Police utilities from an ST?

At least according to what I've been able to find on the internet, engine is the same, brakes are the same. I also read there is some additional cooling for parking for long periods of times and different fluid coolers. There are several other differences and some are custom- bracing, seats...

Aftermarket Tune Rankings and issues you may have had.

In many places, their "93" octane is termed PE30 since it's 93 (R+M)/2 octane but has 30% ethanol content. In those cases, no blending would be needed. Here in TN, I can get 93 with 10% ethanol or 93 straight- no ethanol. Mixing the straight 93 with ethanol would give even higher octane...

Aftermarket Tune Rankings and issues you may have had.

Looks to me like they offer 4 different tunes (highlighted in your post), and the ability for you to have two of them available at the same time. So, two different octane tunes, each with or without intercooler.

Reposting for visibility - Watch this Video. What is this sound?

Went off to do a bit of research. There are TSBs you can look at: 20-2337 21-2046 20-2403 20-2305 20-2107 I included the ones that are most likely in the ST and don't necessarily throw a MIL- some are build date related. It would appear a preponderance of problems with the trans control solenoid.

Reposting for visibility - Watch this Video. What is this sound?

I put a post out about the pump, but after re-reading the posts and a bit of further reflection, I think we're looking at two or three different problems. The case of sound being different in "sport" vs "normal" mode at idle is most likely the pump control solenoid. This is used to change the...

    Anyone upgrade their Turbo Yet?

    Anyone upgrade their Turbo Yet?

Based on everyone who is respected on this site's advice, do the intercooler, catch-can, and custom tune. This will give you the tuning instrument, data logging and engine insurance you need for the long term. This, I think everyone can agree on. (@LokiWolf, @UNBROKEN, @Kruppa )? Then check...

    Anyone upgrade their Turbo Yet?

I remember your posts on the 3" exhausts, but never saw any actual numbers. Beautiful work by the way! Flow wise, those twin 3" are probably good for 1500+ hp! I haven't ever seen any numbers for the upgraded cats. I mean, did you do those in different steps? Did you run the numbers with the...

    Anyone upgrade their Turbo Yet?

I'd chime in with my $.02. And this is just to make things as inexpensive upgrade-wise as possible. Start with your goals: Step 1. You just want the truck to be faster and want to spend as little as possible. Buy a tune for about $700. Step 2. You want more than just a tune and still want to...

    Anyone upgrade their Turbo Yet?

It really doesn't matter if it's one or two turbochargers. There is a perception that two turbos will "spool faster" than a single turbo. That just not the reality. A single turbo- sized appropriately will spool just as quickly. Now, I'm really not defending costs associated with moving to a...

    Cold Air Intake status?

For about $700 you can get a tune. Best bang for the buck. Just bolting on a CAI or exhaust isn't going to make a lot of difference.

    Anyone upgrade their Turbo Yet?

You're right, I'm estimating, but my point is bang for the buck. If you look at it that way, there's just not enough upgrade for the amount of price in those turbos. Because you're using stock housings, there just isn't any way to upgrade them beyond that. I can't even imagine the EGTs, let...

    Anyone upgrade their Turbo Yet?

I'm probably going to take a lot of heat for this post, but....here goes. You can get a tune for about $700. This will put you into the mid to hi 12s on 93 completely stock (ask @LokiWolf). For about the same you can get into the low 12s on an e50 blend for the same price. That is bang for...

Believe it or not, I still have a commemorative six pack from Hudepohl which celebrated the Bengals loss in the Superbowl.

FS Street Pack brakes. Houston only.

Thanks for clearing that up. You're right, I was going from memory which was flawed. The difference was the wheel size, not the mounting points.
