I think all the lights run through the BCM. I have seen posted where you can reset the BCM. To do this disconnect the battery cables . Then touch them together to drain any remaining current. After that wait a few minutes and connect the cables. It might work and is worth a try I think . Good luck.

The ST does not have a limited slip differential.

That is a soft reset. To do a hard reset you need to go into the setting screen until you come to the one that says reset. This doesn't hurt to try though. @smenard415 do you know what SYNC version you are on? The newest one is 23188. 22251 caused a lot of issues.

22251 is the one that caused issues. Good luck with it.

I would just go into settings and turn it off. I don't think it's worth getting upset about it.

I'm not sure if this will help but it might be worth trying. Turn off the automatic updates on the Explorer. Then reformat a flash drive and start a new download. And then try updating again.

I doubt it is the motor. First thing I think of is the switch. But it could also be the BCM. You can rtry restting it by doing the following. You can reset your BCM by turning your vehicle to auxiliary, with lights on, or on automatic, flash your high beams 5 times and pump the brakes 3 times...

I would skip the Diffy. Suggest going with either the AWR, Steeda or I.D.Speed.

No mention of hands free in the owners manual.

Try it again. If it still does not show you can go to the Ford Owners website and login. The same update is there also. It is large.
