I understand. Either FORD is reneging on their official recall or the dealer doesn't know what they're doing. Those are the only two options. Keep us informed.

Confusing is right! The official FORD recall states just an e-brake flash and nothing else.

How is the salesperson coming up with that when every document from FORD's official recall is to the contrary? (e-brake flash only) Something doesn't sound right ...

If a new diff cover/bushing/ bolt were not hugely expensive, I'd consider having them installed at some point down the line. That's what has me scratching my head. One tenth of one percent (0.1%) of reported breaks is an infinitesimally small number. Even a full one percent (1.0%) would mean...

It's like you only follow your own posts and nobody else's. He was also talking about "resale" values, so obviously cost is also a concern. Berating comments like yours that ST's are "a dime a dozen" are themselves a dime a dozen. To even say that the number of ST's you see are "staggering"...

Great news! Wish my iconic silver had the 21" wheel package, but in my area those that did were fully loaded and dealers were asking $3k over sticker for them. So I settled for the 20" wheels and paid sticker. Post more pics once you get it.(y)

Maybe they'll notice, and maybe they won't. Regardless, it's still not even close to being so obvious as seeing additional holes drilled in the subframe.
