Safety Recall 22S27 Rear Axle Bolt Fractures

Right on! Seeing they didn't actually fix the problem, the auto parking brake band aid is a must. I wonder if we'll ever know why FORD changed it up.

Rattle Diagnosed: Not what you think ...

Wow, the pull up shades. That's nuts! This is coming from underneath the vehicle, focused below the floor of the 2nd row seats. That's what the TSB targeted, that the fuel line above the gas tank was rattling. Either not enough foam blocks were put in to silent the rattle, or they weren't...

    Please help me.

The best replies you received on this thread are: 1) go to a dealer that doesn't charge you a diagnostic fee 2) call Ford Customer Service

    Any thoughts on this radar?

Yup, same here. Sometimes the R3 picks them up from so far away I think it's a false signal, and then I see it's not. And now Uniden's R4 is even more sensitive. Detectors won't prevent someone from getting pulled over if they're acting like a hooligan, but otherwise, they do a fantastic job.

    Any thoughts on this radar?

While I am not a constant speeder (most of the time I'm getting passed by other cars) my detectors have also saved me more times than I can count. And yes, people running them still need to keep their wits about them. But the fact remains, they're indispensable. Their effectivness has been...

    Any thoughts on this radar?

Instant on radar is (as you know) nothing new. And the number of LEO's I've seen using instant on radar (or its other "instant on" counterpart, laser) is radically close to zero. Additionally, modern radar detectors have an extremely low profile so the chances of LEO's spotting one is also...

    Please help me.

Go to a different state. Yikes! Exactly what I was thinking. I've had mine to the dealer 3 times for the rattling issue. First to diagnose, then to apply a fix, third time because I was still hearing it intermittently (they couldn't duplicate). No charge either of those times, they even gave...

Safety Recall 22S27 Rear Axle Bolt Fractures

The fact we're even talking about the need for a "failsafe" is somewhat concerning.

I just got my ST 3wks ago.

Greetings! I replied to your other post, you really need to see a dealer and have them look into those issues.

    Please help me.

Hello! Issues with any vehicle needs to be addressed at the dealer's Service Department. You need to make an appointment and have them look at those items and hope they find the cause. I'm having issues with my new ST (6,000 miles) with a intermittent rattle. Dealer looked at it and couldn't...

0-60 Times w/no brake tq (Stomp & go)

Stomp 'n Go, no brake torque, over 3/4 tank 93 octane fuel, 100% bone stock as delivered from dealer, with some tools & stuff in the back: For comparison sake, I did an immediate Brake Torque run and was ~1/4 sec faster: (interesting note - my previous best w/brake torque was 5.27 sec and a...

Dragy 10Hz, RaceBox 10Hz or RaceBox Mini 25Hz?

Yeah, I thought maybe updated software would've solved your problem. I got off JunkBook a long time ago but it's an open group so I can still read the posts. Right now, I don't see any talk about satellite connection issues. Latest news is that their server was attacked in July but that it's...

Dragy 10Hz, RaceBox 10Hz or RaceBox Mini 25Hz?

What "satellite issues" are you having? Won't locate? Slow to locate? Difficulty connecting/staying connected? I can't remember seeing a review where anyone said it was way off at any given time. Hmm. What version/build is yours? Mine says: Version 2.7.17/Build 143

Dragy 10Hz, RaceBox 10Hz or RaceBox Mini 25Hz?

Okay, didn't know that! Maybe you "wore it out"? haha Did it just recently start misbehaving or was it like that since day one?

Dragy 10Hz, RaceBox 10Hz or RaceBox Mini 25Hz?

Yeah, DA is very inconsistent with the Dragy. My first run it reported a 10 degree cooler temp (with a correct elevation) so the DA was off. The second run later in the day it showed as 10 degrees warmer (with an incorrect elevation) so again DA was off. Not sure what weather reporting method or...

Dragy 10Hz, RaceBox 10Hz or RaceBox Mini 25Hz?

Thank you sir! The rational and intelligent response I was looking for.(y) Yes, I did a lot of research before I bought it and every "Dragy vs Drag Strip" test showed it to be very accurate. I still haven't found a road where I'm comfortable doing a quarter mile, but the 0-60's are a cinch...
