What is "The Forscan thread", and is it pinned somewhere? (Think 4th dimensionally. If someone finds your post, how do they access what you reference)

*Technically* you are bound to hear something. Those earlier years have a "bypass", or "recirculation" valve. A BOV vents all the air outside the system and is very loud. The bypass valve *also* lets pressurized air rush by, just back into the system. Either way, pressurized air gets fired...

I felt the same about the strut brace, but there wasnt signs of movement for the factory one either. That thing flexed so much it's silly.

I haven't tried before, but has anyone dropped it out the bottom before? If so, and you know someone with a lift, you could be in business.

That, is a very good question. Honestly, the 2025 is a refresh year, so I truly expect no deletes, but if there are some it will be very telling.

If people arent paying attention, especially to that 2nd video, theyre just playing Russian roulette. Many people do, and even shout to heaven about how great Jiffy Lube is, but they stick out like sore thumbs at red lights... all that engine noise... :rolleyes:

As for tossin it in corners? HR springs Rear sway bar (Front is ok, but the rear is a must) Strut Tower Brace (I can bend the stamped one bare-handed without effort - WHY Ford?) Subrframe spacers Bigger rubbers (More things, ask UNBROKEN, he's got a list) Winter? A lot of people like tossing...

Mismatches in the included trim? That is a per-vehicle-basis, unfortunately. The deletes are noted on the window sticker, which you should be able to get ahold of. Some deletes can be re-added easily, and some not. (IIRC some 2022s-2023s didn't have the second row temp controls, but some dealers...

With the tune being Ford Performance, they should be able to put it back if they screw it up - after all it is a Ford Tune.

The advice is so wild in this category that in the 80s, before synthetic, I knew a "lifelong mechanic" who proselytized the virtue of never changing your oil. His claim is that emptying the oil got rid of thicker particulates that kept the seals healthy, so no flushing/changing should be done...

Tunes are just that, tuned for the best performqnce based on the vehicle's characteristics. DPs, CAI, hot/cold charge pipes will change the profile. It would of course be best to tune again later, depending on how much of a change you make.

The "10K mile oil change" is a myth. I would never do such a thing, especially to a turbo vehicle with thrust bearings. "Today's oils are better!", "The companies just want money!" - these things are true, but not the whole truth. Rental companies/agencies want to not be disobeying manufacturer...
