    Parking Brake Fault

As they say today; "if you know, you know" but I guess everyone doesn't. I found out the hard way back in 2013 when I traded in a Buick for a Toyota. I reside in a rural area and it turns out that car manufacturers (primarily Asian brands) have adopted soy or plant based insulation for their...

    Parking Brake Fault

Here's a new one; I came home after running some errands this morning, parked my '25 ST and popped the hood so I could replace my rodent deterrent mothball canisters once the engine cooled down. An hour or so later when I dropped the hood to close it I heard a warning chime from the cabin and...

    Lift gate chime

The lift gate chime on my ST works erratically. If I leave the gate open for awhile it doesn't chime at all when closing it later. Other times when only briefly opened it chimes normally, but other occasions the chime sounds like it's only playing in the front of the vehicle and the sound is...

Behind stearing wheel controls - leaning

Huh, I never noticed this misalignment until I read your post and looked at mine today while driving and it not level by maybe 5-6°. I'll ask the dealer to see if they can fix it next time I'm in but I'm sure they'll first try to tell me it's normal or deny it's not level so I'll bring a level...

    New 25 ST Owner

Congrats Quick Rick on your new ST. The problem with my ST not permitting me to pair with the Pass app ultimately was the vehicle was purchased by someone else who only kept it for a day before returning it because they were elderly and couldn't handle all of the tech. The dealership tried to...

    Recall

I had my appointment this morning for the 25B02 CSP regarding the PCM software update. Unlike some others who reported it only took ten minutes my dealership managed to take nearly 2.5 hours! To make matters worse the service manager then tells me that they ran some diagnostics and didn't find...

    Recall

I read about a recall Recall 25S35 on another Explorer forum this morning (https://fordauthority.com/2025/04/2025-ford-explorer-recalled-over-powertrain-control-module-issue/). I received a notice from Ford in the mail last week about Customer Satisfaction Program 25B02 advising me to make an...

    Looking to purchase Explorer ST

My last vehicle was a 2019 Mazda CX-9 GT which I bought new 6 years ago and it was trouble free. I was happy enough with the Mazda experience but did not like the new CX-90 replacement so shopped for a Grand Highlander but there were none to be had. I also looked at the Honda Pilot Elite and...

    Customer satisfaction program - 25B02

I called the dealer this morning after the Pass app wouldn't let me schedule the update for some reason. The service manager I spoke to (like 'Doom Crew above) didn't know anything about this CSP and asked if I was having any problems with the vehicle. I confirmed that I wasn't, but since Ford...

What are the 2025 Prices people are paying?

Back in mid-January I paid $57,295 for mine vs. the sticker which was $61,790. This vehicle was the first 2025 Explorer my local Texas dealership received on their lot last August and it was a special order. The buyer was an "older" (70-something) gent who was overwhelmed by all the tech and he...

    Customer satisfaction program - 25B02

That's nice but I reside out in a rural area over 50 miles away from my dealer and am pretty sure they're not sending anyone to my ranch. I hope it works out for owners in the 'burbs or cities.

    Thanks for the encouraging news.

    Customer satisfaction program - 25B02

Just got mine today; I'm not thrilled that they say it takes "less than one-half day" with the caveat that my dealer might need it longer due to scheduling requirements.

    built in hard drive

Thanks, I thought in the past when I pressed that rear facing arrow it changed my station to the next saved favorite. I'll have to try it again.

How do you 'rewind' Sirius on the ST? I could do it with my previous vehicle (2019 Mazda CX-9 GT) but haven't figured out how it is possible with the Explorer.

Honest opinion of 2025 ST. Buying a 24.

I'm guessing your steering column adjustment is manual also and not power. My early build ST has the rear sunshades and powered steering wheel column.

    Storage Unit for ST

Exiting through the moonroof is an option if so equipped.

    SiriusXM preset help

Back again; so I was driving today and played with the Sirius radio and I was wrong, the favorites are not "infinite" as I previously stated and will loop if you FF enough through the stations saved. I still haven't figured out how to delete anything I don't want though.

    SiriusXM preset help

It would be very nice. My previous vehicle, a 2019 Mazda CX-9 GT's Sirius tuner allowed you to just make a favorites list which could include FM stations too and you could arrange the order of them quite easily. The other thing you could do was if you hit a station with a song you liked...

    2025 st digital dial options?

I kinda thought it was from a different Ford vehicle and the dude in the video just grabbed an image off of the web without realizing they're not the same. That being said as others here have opined if they can offer that in the F150 then why not on the Explorer?
