    E-15 Gasoline?

    I doubt you’ll even notice a difference between E10 and E15.

    Reverse Emergency Braking Assist

If they figure out why it’s not working let me know…I’d love to make mine not work too.

Anyone tried the 22" wheel from the 13-14 edge sport on their ST

You won’t have any issues swapping wheels or even rotating the tires. Mine have been on/off, new tires and moved around at least 20 times.

Pirelli Scorpion Zero vs P Zero

That’s because those are 315/35’s on 10.5” wheels.

Anyone tried the 22" wheel from the 13-14 edge sport on their ST

Any 315mhz sensor will work and no tool is needed. New sensors will self learn in just a few miles.

Why we didn't buy an Explorer ST, and other various thoughts

You said they punched out a 2.7. They in fact did not. Period. You can throw out every obsolete Ford engine ever made…it won’t change that.

Why we didn't buy an Explorer ST, and other various thoughts

The 3.0 is all aluminum. That 1/2 CGI half Aluminum thing was scrapped. Wish I could find the article talking about it but I’m coming up empty.

Why we didn't buy an Explorer ST, and other various thoughts

One block is iron, one is aluminum. Other internal parts don’t interchange. It’s not a modified 2.7. Based on and bored out are not the same.

Why we didn't buy an Explorer ST, and other various thoughts

AL vs CGI block. Bore, stroke and compression ratio are different, etc. The list of differences is pretty long in a part by part comparison. In now way is it a modified 2.7.

Why we didn't buy an Explorer ST, and other various thoughts

The 3.0 is not a “punched out 2.7” It was an all new, ground up design.

Why we didn't buy an Explorer ST, and other various thoughts

They just flat respond better to modifications. 500+ whp is a few button clicks and an IC away. Daily drive 550ish on E50 smoother than stock. It’s a better, stronger, more well thought out engine than the 3.5 all day every day.

Why we didn't buy an Explorer ST, and other various thoughts

Anyone wanting the 3.5 over the 3.0 in this car is uninformed or just plain stupid. The 3.0 is superior in every way not to mention easier to make power with.

    E-15 Gasoline?

Your car will run better on E15 than it will on non-ethanol. E10 too for that matter.

    ZFG93 baseline

The baseline tune isn’t for you to drive on…it’s to datalog so Adam can get a good idea of what YOUR car is doing so he can refine anything that needs refining and also dial in any preferences you have like shifting, etc. My 93 tune has 11 revisions because we were working for the first 11...

aFe Intake -vs- Whipple Intercooler -vs- Downpipe

It depends on what you want out of the car. If you wanna be the fastest…Unleashed isn’t gonna cut it. You’ll be several tenths slower than a ZFG tune on the same octane. If you just want a little more pep…by all means save a few bucks. Not everyone is in a horsepower race.

aFe Intake -vs- Whipple Intercooler -vs- Downpipe

It is worth the money…but you won’t get all you paid for with the stock IC. The computer starts pulling timing pretty quickly when it gets hot. 0-60 runs will be the same more or less but 1/4 mile times will suffer with the oem IC.

2022 Explorer ST 2nd Row Cup Holder Console Between Captain Chairs

Once the rest of the parts for my Aviator rear console come off backorder I’ll be selling mine. At first I figured I’d just throw it away but now that they deleted them I figure I can get a few bucks back.
