    UNBROKEN’s Iconic Silver ST build

This is what I have coming. LB5Z-78042C74-DA Kinda weird…it’s listed not as piano black but just for 21-22 ST’s…which is where the changeover happened.

    22” Wheels??

I’m actually going back to 305/35’s. These are up to $2700+ a set…even I have my limits on stupidity.

I don’t even know what these were from. I found them on eBay for about $300. New is over $500.

    22” Wheels??

Nothing but “pro’s” Wider stance, more rubber on the road and 60ish lbs lighter than stock. There’s no downside….virtually everything was improved. Mine are BC Forged EH181 22x10.5 +30 offset. it’s now on 315/35/22’s.

What Have You Done To Your Explorer ST Today

Started the piano black dash conversion…which doesn’t exist so I made it exist.

    UNBROKEN’s Iconic Silver ST build

Sometimes new mods present new problems. My Aviator rear console has piano black trim on it but my radio bezel is matte black. So…I ordered the piano black radio bezel to make it match. Problem solved…except I’ve never liked the fake carbon fiber dash trim…so I ordered a full set that’s smooth...

    aFe front sway bar review?

First off…you’re talking about the strut bar…not the swaybar this thread is about. 2nd…I’d suggest finding @TMac post about the strut bars.

CAMBER FROM LOWERING SPRINGS / DOWNSHIFT SURGING

So go back to your alignment shop and tell them to set rear camber at -.5°

CAMBER FROM LOWERING SPRINGS / DOWNSHIFT SURGING

You don’t need a kit for rear camber…you need a competent alignment shop that knows where the adjustment point is.

    Ford Performance Tune

I am enjoying the lady on FB claiming a 4mpg increase in gas mileage. Like…no. lol

    Misfire Saga

We use my ST for extended road trips so until there’s a Bosch option or something I trust…it’s not worth the risk. An injector swap in a hotel parking lot 1/2 way across the country doesn’t sound like much fun. lol

    Misfire Saga

This is what has kept me scared away from any of the aftermarket injectors so far.

    Bolt-on power mods

You never mentioned warranty until now. Do you want power…or do you want a warranty? If it’s the latter…get an IC and the Ford Performance tune. Otherwise…screw the warranty and let it eat.

That’s from a Navigator…different shape from our rear climate controls.

    Misfire Saga

Read the plugs and swap the coils around to make sure the misfire doesn’t follow a coil.

The 10 second Explorer ST thread!

Uhhh…no. 2014 and newer cars with all oem safety features in place and stock sheetmetal can go as quick as 9.0 @ 150 with nothing else needed but a license. You can add any aftermarket parts you want but it has the be licensed and insured with plates. Page 18/19 of the 2022 NHRA rule amendment book.

Thermal R&D 3inch won’t fit with SPD 3inch downpipes and mid pipes

Never plan for everything to fit when mating multiple aftermarket companies parts together. Always have a back up plan.

    UNBROKEN’s Iconic Silver ST build

Pull all the A, B, C and D pillar trim, visors, console, etc and pull it down. If you have the sunroof it’s held up by magnets around the hole. That’s about all I remember.
