    Well this is interesting

This is exactly why I got the captains chairs. A 3 year old and 6 month old.

What Have You Done To Your Explorer ST Today

Installed the Steeda strut tower brace. No more fat, flimsy, stamped factory trash. Hopefully do the rear sway bar next week.

So what's the consensus on floor lines..

I actually haven't gotten the Smartliners yet. I still want to replace the WeatherTech up front, but they're ok for now. They haven't gotten any worse than the initial warp. 2nd and 3rd row are still perfect. I wish I could find rubber mats that are as awesome as the factory ones in my wife's...

2022 Ford Explorer Adds the ST's 400-HP V-6 to More Trims

What exclusivity? If Ford got a million orders for STs, they'd build them. I see at least 10 other STs per day by me. Nothing exclusive about an Explorer. Just makes sense to not bother with multiple engine calibrations, saves money on emissions testing and such. Spreading the engine out...

    Driver's Side Window Issue

Mine did this after I got tint installed. Did what the video said it was all good.

    Cold Air Intake status?

Not sure if anyone was concerned, or I'm just answering my own question, but I called AFE this morning to ask about the note that they won't sell in California. He said they would absolutely sell and ship to California, and that CARB certification was in progress. And for the guys complaining...

    Cold Air Intake status?

Looks great, was ready to pre-order, then saw the note about not selling in California! They are just a few miles from my in-laws in Corona. I'll have to stop and and see if I can get it there, or have it shipped to my buddy in Scottsdale.

ZFG: I guess I'm a fanboy now too

Haha! I wish the tune was only $26.

What Have You Done To Your Explorer ST Today

Installed the Thermal R&D catback. What a great upgrade. System is well made and basically fell into place. I saw one comment about the kit being an "erector set". I'm not sure what is expected, there's 2 midpipes, a resonator, 2 connecting pipes, and 2 mufflers, and everything only fits one...

ZFG: I guess I'm a fanboy now too

You know, none of this is helping with the wait. Feeling like Tom Petty over here. It's my time to buy from ZFG but I'm just waiting on the California approval. :(

So what's the consensus on floor lines..

I'm happy with my WeatherTechs in the 2nd and 3rd row. Not with the first. They seem to be warping already and not fit that great. 2nd and 3rd row fit perfectly. I'll be trying the Smartliners for the 1st row, they look to be a good price.

Aftermarket Tune Rankings and issues you may have had.

You have to get on the waitlist for ZFG. They will email you when it is your turn to order. They use datalogging and there is some back and forth, that is why he is only allowing a few people at a time to order. AO = Auto octane, will adjust for bad or shit gas. AO w/IC = Auto octane but you...

    Cold Air Intake status?

Excited for this. Haven't used any personally but I know the AFE products my buddy's have used are great. I will definitely be grabbing this for the looks. The extra couple HP is even better! And since I'm delayed waiting for ZFG to get California approval, I could probably have this on first...

What Have You Done To Your Explorer ST Today

Good to know. I'll add something underneath to hopefully stop that.

What Have You Done To Your Explorer ST Today

Another boring addition but I think good for a daily. Got the Cup Holder Hero kit. It's a bunch of high quality rubber inserts for every opening in the Explorer. All cup holders, door pockets, and random storage places. Got it on Amazon. It comes in a few colors but I got black.

What Have You Done To Your Explorer ST Today

Added WeatherTech floor mats for all 3 rows. Not exciting but needed to protect the car during family hauling duties. They fit great and clean up easy.

Drivers Window & Mirror Controls Stopped Working

This actually happened to me last week. Only once. I just had the drivers switches replaced for peeling chrome, so hopefully it never happens again!

Ford Performance Parts for 2020 Explorer ST

There's several good reasons for not caring about a FP tune for the Explorer ST. The first is FP tunes are crap; ask anyone that had one of these on their Coyote. The remainder of the reasons are the good experiences people have with ZFG, PBD, Livernois, Gearhead, etc, which actually add power...

What Have You Done To Your Explorer ST Today

Little addition, well actually a subtraction. Rear wiper delete. I used the link @UNBROKEN provided, the NiceCNC brand on Amazon. Same title and everything, but it didn't have the little nub he had to grind off. So that made this job even easier!

The Thermal R&D cat back exhaust PREMIER!

My Thermal exhaust came in pretty badly damaged packaging as well. The mid-pipes were perfectly packaged and not even a minor dent in the box, the 2nd box with full exhaust looked like a pissed off gorilla tired to deliver it to my house. I saw no damage to the parts inside or anything...
