Fords other "2 tone" interiors in the platinum are not good so if they offered something it would likely be a terrible shade of red anyway that nobody would like.
We looked at the tan interior platinum and I counted at least 5 shades of brown. Had they put the brown seats in with an otherwise...
They are good quality from what I could tell. Match to the wheels was good enough. The other ones people suggest are twice as expensive... But it would be hard to argue twice as nice.
Let me rephrase where I went real quick because what I clicked on is actually still there. If you hover over "custom tuning" and then click "ford" when it pops up, that was what I was seeing and still see. I dont know that I ever went to the main "custom tuning" page which is where the above...
google has nothing to do with it.
That was not there before. Last time I was on there(maybe a week ago) it was 3 blank icons that did nothing. It is dated Feb 1, but definitely not there as of then.
Anyway, I sent a message via that portal now to get on the list.
I went on their website a week or so ago looking for a link or anything to get on a waiting list and dont see anything. I had emailed him about a month ago and never got a reply. Whats the process to get on the waiting list?
I have always done 3-5 gentle heat cycles to seat rings and then its game on. Ill accelerate in a gear, hold the gear, and let the engine brake the car down pretty far then do it again. Trying to get high cylinder pressures and then a bunch of vacuum to really help seal the rings. Had a LONG...
I cant speak to 3m vs. ceramic tint, but I have always run Madico Wincos Ceramic IR film on my cars. Its 99% UV rejection and I think 93% IR rejection. In the ST I put 30% on the front doors and 70%(basically clear) all the rest of the way around. The factory "privacy glass" is just a dye...
oh just spend some time browsing and you will find some stuff that interests you.
I suggest getting rid of the chrome lugs first thing. search around and find the big thread for a few different options. I did the Gorilla's from Ebay like a few others. $60 for good quality...
I cant and wont speak to Ford's engineering decision making.
HOWEVER being turbo motors the clearances are usually on the looser side so a slightly thicker oil is usually warranted. Also turbo motors tend to produce more heat and put more demand on the oil as a result. 30w will withstand that...
yea the $300 base cost puts it out for me.
The $100-$120 for the custom paint options isnt a KILLER honestly as small batch custom painting isnt cheap, but if you paint in batches I am sure you can cut that cost down a ton. BUT you can probably only do gloss or flat black in batches. I would...
yes I am aware of that, I just personally have never sold to anybody in Canada before. The warehouse is in Alberta.
I usually take paypal, but I dont think I have ever taken paypal from anybody in Canada before. Beyond that I know its not a problem.
If anybody is interested I can offer special pricing on the full line of Amsoil products. I am making no money by offering these prices, just passing them on to forum members(Mods if this type of thread is not allowed let me know and I will delete it or you all can delete it). I can not...
Ecoboost turbo's have all been liquid cooled as far as I know, including ours.
This isnt the 90's anymore. I dont think there is a single oil cooled only turbo out there on any production vehicle these days. Last ones I remember were on the Supra TT and the Eclipse/3000GT stuff...
turbo's arent oil cooled so its really no big deal.
Do you believe the ecoboost also needs a turbo timer to run for 5-10 minutes whenever you park and shut it off? Because its lacking that feature also...
