    Software

We update computerized assembly tools with flash drives as well. There are some that plain won't work. They recommend Sandisk and I have never had any trouble updating those controllers with a Sandisk.

    Puddle Lights

I like them. First I saw them was on my wife's MB. Considering how many things they cut from the 2020 MY I feel fortunate they didn't axe them.

    Transmission temp 195 F

Not necessarily bad. In fact, too low a temp is no good either as it won’t cook off moisture and volatiles. IIRC trans fluid starts to break down over 220 degrees so you are well within range. May even be a bit higher with todays synthetic lubes. I have never checked mine but now you have me...

IAT’s - Stock vs Whipple Intercooler

Agree unless you never really beat on it. For short bursts you may not notice a difference but if you are on the boost heavy, temps will definitely shoot way up with the stock unit. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Smoking on startup after sitting

Wow, what a bummer. Never seen smoke on mine and you have two engines that did it. Good luck with the fix! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Rear end damage

No doubt. I paid $1500 delivered. Sell was $1200, dealer made money on it and Ford makes money on it. I would guestimate the true cost to Ford to be around $400-$600. Of course there is labor too but Ford doesn't pay $145/hr for warranty work either.

Did anyone else get the recall letter?

The one I purchased was MB5Z-5035-E . It came with the two isolators for the two bolts. My diff cover had two bolt holes. I did buy some bolts for the subframe but don't remember the part numbers.

QUESTION: Who is using/has used a 3 bolt at the drag strip?

Correct, my diff cover had two bolt holes with only one of them used. Regarding solid bushings, I'm not a big fan unless you are talking pure performance and not comfort. I put some poly bushings in my CTSV and while it handled great, daily driving was horrible and I swapped them back out.

    Interior creaks and rattles

I think it's hit or miss on the quality. Mine has been outstanding so far but I also did a sound deadening exercise for stereo. Fingers crossed.

QUESTION: Who is using/has used a 3 bolt at the drag strip?

Can't speak for the diff cover but my 4-bolt subframe was $1600 delivered.

QUESTION: Who is using/has used a 3 bolt at the drag strip?

Right now Ford will not replace a 3-bolt with a 4-bolt even if you break the 1 bolt. The Police version may be the exception. The lame solution from Ford is to replace the 1 bolt. It appears to me that an average fabricator could find a bushing, drill out where the second bolt goes, and weld...

    Retrofit Ambient Cupholder Lighting

Pulled the complete interior, seats and console and trim panels, to do sound deadening. I believe when I had it out you could see the cup holders on the bottom. I assume they snap in some how but I never attempted.
