    FS Used Steeda springs SOLD

Got a set I pulled with 30k miles. Only reason I replaced them was the surface rust on the rears and I was doing shocks. I loved the ride and had no issues with them other than surface rust on rears. Nothing a sanding/blast and a rattle can or powder coating wouldn’t take care of. $100 pick up...

    Windshield inside sweating

No that’s not right. Does the airflow and temp feel the same on both sides? My guess is you are not getting full flow on that side. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Low Oil Level and Oil Pressure *READ ME*

The problem is with the oil pump baffling on the oem pan. Hard cornering can starve the oil pump. Overfilling helps mitigate this. Adding another oil pump is not practical. So long as you are not adding more than 1/2qt or so, it’s only raising the oil level 1/4” or so. With the deeper pan, the...

Steeda vs H&R vs Eibach decision

No pics yet but the Eibach are lower than the Steeda by about 3/4” maybe a tad more in back. No noticeable ride difference but only a couple miles. I’ll let them settle for a week then take some pics and offer a ride comparison to the Steeda springs. Probably selling my springs cheap after I...

    Front end clunk/rattle

On a side note, it’s not surprising the strut top bearing won’t hold up. I just did shocks, struts, and springs. The struts had 37k miles on them. I had a bad rear shock and rusted Steeda springs so I just did it all. Anyhow, when I took the first spring off the strut, the plastic strut bearing...

2200 mile trip in the ST

Couldn’t agree more. I’ve had full sized trucks prior to the explorer and it’s a blast on long trips. Massage seats are a nice touch for long drives. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
