They also changed the hard plastic on the front seat backs to stitched vinyl. Unfortunately they removed the lights in the glove, armrest and center console compartments. Also, discontinued the front camera washer and windshield wiper defrosters.

Why replace it yourself if it's under warranty??

Mine failed under warranty and was replaced for no cost by the dealer.

For me the soft reset didn't work. Hours later after arriving home from the city and restarting the vehicle and several soft resets, my maps showed I was still downtown. So I had no choice but a master reset. The other issues were resolved however after a restart.

The only annoying thing is losing all your presets and favorites. Also it took almost 2 weeks for all the Sirius station logos to download.

I use auto-start with keyfob and auto-hold hold is on at all times and have never had this fault in almost 2 years of ownership. I wish I could say the same about the reverse brake-assist fault and blue rear camera which in the past year has gotten worse. I used to happen less than once a month...

I've had 3 of those in less than 2 years. First was near sidewall and had to be replaced under road hazard warranty at just 4,000 miles. The last 2 in the past 5 months. One was plugged and the one this week I had to buy for over $300 at the dealer. UGH! 20,000 miles and 3 tire punctures!

The heating and cooling work very well on mine after almost 2 years of ownership. Other things like seat noise, lack of memory recall really suck however. The massage works well too!

Mine downloaded overnight over wifi and installed on my way downtown, in about 20 minutes. The system restarted as I was driving and Travelink is back and works every time now! FINALLY! After almost 4 months!

Not to be a smartass but my entire vehicle creaks and rattles from different places at different times! It's part of this vehicle's DNA. The worst noise is from under the driver's seat and in the back left side hatch area.

This was reported by another member a while back and it was an assembly issue. Those crackheads in Chicago!

Mine has exhaust rattles and smells at cold start when the vehicle was about a year old. This has gradually gotten worse. i never had the flex pipe which rattled on the driver's side replaced. Now with this recall, it may end up being an entire new exhaust system.

Sad to hear that after over 2 years of production, Ford engineers haven't resolved any of these random, intermittent electronic gremlins! It will be time for a mid-cycle refresh soon and the early model problems still continue!
