Try this. Next time you hit play for a text, turn up the volume and see if it helps. I use an iPhone and there’s independent volume for maps, phone.. etc. It might work for yours, not sure.

Believe me, been there done that… I’ve helped the neighbors, the last 6 cars in our house, at work, etc…..all went smooth and no issues. For whatever reason it wouldn’t work on my ST until that last try, the same damn thing that’s been done time and time again.

Nice.. I’m guessing it’s not a ‘25? I have yet to take mine apart but from what I’ve been reading it’s non replaceable led that’s as dim as could be.

lol. Yup, tried ignition on, car running and any other combo. I tried for about a week, multiple cars, 2 different doors… every one worked but mine! So tonight I asked my son to help me one more time…. He pushed the button on the garage door motor, I did the car…. Same as it’s been done many...
