I apologize if someone has already answered- Forscan codes for ST?

The OBDLINK EX is almost a gold standard of recommended cable for Forscan. Under development is updating modules. You can do that with the EX but not the MX+. Besides, the EX is way cheaper than the MX+ and no switch to deal with unlike generic cables.

POLICE INTERCEPTOR RIMS - 2021 ST

Canadian Ford dealers can get you the interceptor rims for cheap.

I apologize if someone has already answered- Forscan codes for ST?

https://forscan.org/download.html You'll need a windows PC and I'd recommend the OBDLINK EX cable. After you download the latest version of forscan, get the free 2 month trial of the extended license and register your forscan. You can buy a license after that if you find Forscan useful and...

Interceptor amber DRL's on Explorer St

I wonder if the F150 method works: https://www.f150forum.com/f118/setting-parking-lights-drls-great-find-380225/index2/#post5286446 Edit: tried to change the DRL to amber only. Checksum error. The F150 As-Built method doesn't work.

    Suspension upgrades

The sway bar is excellent with the stock springs. I would double check with Steeda first to make sure their revised design is compatible with the stock springs. I had the rear sway bar (original design) on for a couple of weeks before I had the Steeda springs. They were on the stiffest...

    Steeda Lowering Springs Install

It's a straight up spring swap. That said, i think maybe a couple bolts are one time use but look stout enough to reuse which is what we all do. Maybe ask them specifically what they are talking about.

    Installed Livernois Tune

I am not even talking about differences in different tuners. I'm talking about differences in ZFG tunes for bone stock cars. Is there a difference? I'm not so sure. The process, like I've mentioned, implies that it's custom but there is no evidence.

    Installed Livernois Tune

Not necessarily. It is all conjecture. How much variation is there between stock vehicles nowadays? Just because the process seems more custom, doesn't mean it is. He could be running the same tune in all stock STs that he "custom" tunes and only tweak for shifting preference. No one knows...

    More Cracked Headlights

OK thanks. Yeah, I have a few of those on the inside pieces. I do not think they are cracks either but scratches from manufacturing. One of the scratches in particular is in the exact same spot on both sides. I'm not too worried about it and certainly wouldn't pursue replacement--especially...

    More Cracked Headlights

From the pics, I'm not even sure what crack you are talking about? I looked at my headlights and don't see anything out of the ordinary.

    5Star 93 Perf Tune: 400+ mile review

I personally would not be pleased with a tune that has no trans tuning or does a bad job of it. That's half the fun!

    360 camera re-calibration?

So my dealer recalibrated mine. No change. Edit: no change. they suggested it may be the lowered suspension?

    Lower suspension?

It's something like an inch and a quarter lower or so. Hardly slammed.

    Home Made Jack Pucks

I think that one half of the hockey puck may be too wide to clear the plastic edge by the pinch welds. You might have to shave off the outer edges but only as test fit can tell for sure. Those are certainly better the slotted pads I bought off ebay which are too soft. NICE JOB!

    Highest mileage ST

6/2019 build with 25k miles. gps position incorrect about 5% of the time. Otherwise no issues and very reliable. I will not be getting any extended warranty because it's been so problem free.

What don't you like about your ST?

There is some friction but it goes in/out relatively easily. I was never in fear of it getting stuck. The MityVac appears to be top notch. Maybe send their customer service an email about your concern. Maybe they have specs on the Ford dipstick opening or have a smaller tube available...

What don't you like about your ST?

No... slightly too small. My original extractor (different brand though) is 6L and I had to empty it and extract again, leading to some mess. I'm with you on fears of damage from the dealership. That's probably my 2nd biggest concern next to taking more time waiting at the dealer compared to DIY.

What don't you like about your ST?

EDIT: I actually have two extractors, a German one that had too small a capacity for the ST, and the OEM Tools one I referenced above. Both have 0.25" OD dipstick tubes that fit easily.

What don't you like about your ST?

Most auto parts stores and oil change facilities will accept used oil. I go to the Autozone near me. I've also gone to Walmart to do it too if that's where I'm going anyways, in their auto dept.
