WTB Looking for OEM front Ford oval

I'm looking for an OEM Ford badge that goes on the grille. Mine is cracked. Ford part number is JT4Z-8213-A.

    Ebay IC

There's currently a sale on CVF. 10% off and no tax. It brings it to slightly under 800. I got the eBay one for $496.

If you have a hi-res closeup of the fins on the Whipple, that would be helpful. I wouldn't be surprised if that was the case. Out of curiousity, I wanted to compare the fin density between all the different intercoolers: Whipple: Steeda: CVF: Mishimoto: It looks like CVF has the most...

@UNBROKEN @CoHPhasor you both make completely valid points. I agree. That said, it is a calculated risk (that I perceive to be very low) that I am willing to take. Time and logs will tell how efficient this is at cooling, and how long it lasts.

    Forscan Auto Start/Stop turn off?

Not sure. I am still able to toggle ASS on/off with the button. But it stays off by default at every startup.

    Checking for leaks

I will probably be taking a few short road trips this summer with the Explorer and want to check for the common leak spots before heading out. The one I'm most concerned about is the hub actuator/front axle disconnect. Can I peek under and see it, or do I have to remove the splash tray? I...

The eBay intercooler is a direct copy of the Mishimoto. Not sure what the reviews are on that. I did some digging and the intercooler is made by a company called CSK. They make intercoolers for several platforms, and lots of reviews are available if you search. Honestly, it is tempting at...

    Forscan Auto Start/Stop turn off?

Just another update. It's been a year since I changed the value in Forscan, auto stop/start has still not returned! Could someone please validate on a car with no previous Forscan changes? Change this value only: PSCM 730-01-02 xxxx xxxx **-- **: 00=Auto Start/Stop Disabled 01=Auto...

Cobb Accessport now available for Explorer ST

Winfield got some pretty decent numbers on day 1 of custom tuning the car: This was with an Intercooler, Intake, and charge piping on E50. I imagine he still has some more tuning to do. He is also at a much higher elevation, and the smoothing on the dyno is set to 4, so that will bring down...

Cobb Accessport now available for Explorer ST

https://cobbtuning.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/PRS/pages/3018260501/Map+Notes+for+Explorer+ST Some more info on the OTS tune. I'm not particularly excited about the OTS tunes, but they seem to offer decent gains. Unlike the Ford Performance tune, they also tune the TCM, so the shift behavior will...

Cobb Accessport now available for Explorer ST

I feel that at this point, there's not really a benefit in switching if you already have a tuning device. I don't believe ZFG offers tuning for Cobb devices, but a lot of tuners from other Ecoboost platforms seem to be ready to offer custom tuning. I saw Adam from Tune+ (popular with Focus RS...

New transmission same problem 2020 HELP

I would check the fluid level again, and go back to the dealer. Sorry to hear you're going through that, sounds frustrating.

Cobb Accessport now available for Explorer ST

https://www.cobbtuning.com/products/accessport/accessport-for-ford-explorer-st-2020-2023 The Cobb Accessport is now available for our cars for $725. I see a lot of other Ecoboost platform tuners announcing plans to offer tuning for the Explorer ST. Anyone planning to pick one up? I am...

Painted the ST on the seats

My initial plan was to do the outline in white or silver and the inside blue. After seeing how difficult it is to not make any mistakes, I decided I am not artistic enough and just did the blue

Painted the ST on the seats

I used a Paint Marker to color the ST. It's difficult to be precise.

    Tire Wear

I had a Mazda CX-5 prior to the Explorer. The factory Yokohama Geolandars lasted pretty long for me, I think I got 40k miles out of them. I hope that's some kind of indication on how these will be, but we and CX-90 owners are guinea pigs, since these tires just came out.

That's good that they updated it! Here's what I heard back from Falken:
