Safety Recall 22S27 Rear Axle Bolt Fractures

The Parking Brake can always be released with the button. No issue for me.

    Dashcam install (heavy pics)

I think the best choice is the bolt shown in post #34. But, I just couldn’t get to it. The one I used seems to keep the ground wire high enough to avoid damage and I had plenty of wire available.

    Dashcam install (heavy pics)

This is the bolt I used. If you follow the metal tube to which your brake pedal is attached, you’ll find it.

    Dashcam install (heavy pics)

IIRC, I used one of the brake pedal mounting bolts. If there’s something like Harbor Freight up in BC, this gadget is great to have and will help you find a solid grounding point. https://www.harborfreight.com/612v-circuit-tester-with-5-ft-lead-63603.html

Another Mirror tap DIY - Radar & Dash Cam

I wasn’t able to easily find a solution. So, I ended up running the cable under this rubber plug and making a mess with silicone caulk. Not the kind of work I like to do but it works.

    Does Wi-Fi stay connected

I don’t see how there could be enough battery for it to remain online. On the other hand, sending a command thru the app (i.e., remote start) does wake it up.

    Noisy moonroof?

These are the screws (one on each side) that attach the metal levers to the actual screen? The ones that screw in from below? If so, mine appear in place and relatively tight. Having inspected the screen (front seats completely forward and standing up on the second row floor), I can see how...

    Noisy moonroof?

@Sammy374 Ran a couple miles at 70 today. I believe your advice solved my problem. Thanks!!!!!

    Noisy moonroof?

Yeah, I’ve taken Sammy’s advice and opened/closed it in the garage. Haven’t had an opportunity to highway test it yet.

    Noisy moonroof?

Went for a longish weekend trip to visit friends. 200 miles each way. About half way home, I opened the moonroof. When I closed it, I had the sense it was making noise (wind) I hadn’t heard before. Opening and closing it changed nothing. Anybody detected this issue?

    LED Reverse Lights?

I bought these tools without any plan to use them. Since they arrived, I’ve used them dozens of times. Very handy when you get around to a dash cam install. AXELECT 8PCS Trim Removal Tool Car Interior Audio Installation Pry Tool Kit Window Decor Mold Fastener Removal Tool Kit...

    LED Reverse Lights?

IIRC, I’ve read here that some have broken off one of the tabs by yanking in the wrong direction. In my case, I’ve had absolutely no issues. Also, if memory serves, I may have used a plastic lever to assist. I’ll find links to both removing the housings and those lever tools.
