Sorry, I have always called downshift ie... going 4 to 3, for higher rpms ect. To explain it better, lets say I was in 4th. It would not shift to 5 with full pedal and just revved out, and would not go back down to 3rd while sitting at 5-6k RPM for about 200 yards.

Def not just sport mode. If I had to guess I was in 4-5th and it would not upshift, even with gas pedal floored.

Thanks, We pretty much only drive is sport mode so I will have to run normal and see if it still happens.

While on the highway and in sport mode, the ST will randomly hold a gear (not sure what gear) and just rev. It will not upshift on its own and will only downshift on its own after coasting for awhile. It has happened to me and the wife once each. Could the fluid be low? I would prefer to avoid...

I have wondered about the angle of the mounting point for the end links, AFE is straight, and Steeda is angled. Not sure if it even matters. I do like the AFE mounts better though.

Hmm I was worried about fuel with the ST, looks like you got good results. After my free changes are up I plan to run M1 ESP 5w/30 and do some tests. Being I only drive 5-6k a year that will be a few years though.

I have had too much ice/slush build up under where they rest on the cowel, on the downstroke they do not fully go all the way down and jam in place. Never on the explorer but on another car. Now I make sure remove all that build up when cleaning windows.

I am required to have a front plate in Colorado. They launched black plates last month and mine arrived today. My issue is the outside edge has a small white line going around the plate. I was able to hide this on the rear with a frame but as for the front.... The OEM bracket only uses 2 bolts...
